What happened to JD? Anyone got details?

The only thing I was told is that he was threatened by DM (probably by way of TJ) of the past and
he didn't want any part of it.

They made him an offer he couldn't refuse? Don't count Andrea Commarto out. She has the stuff to go the distance and finishes strong in later rounds.

Or you can waste your vote

Uh....I never feel I waste my vote. I try to decide on my own who's best qualified for the job. Or maybe folks like you who practice hill-billy politics don't think I'm intelligent enough to do that.........." H'yuk, H'yuk. Well golly gee Mr. S. we'uns shore due need your help to decide how to vote." "Did ya hear that Lizzy? Mr Salami sez we're wastin' our vote."

Ask DM and tj hooker!!
They threatened him and his 90 year old dad that's what happened!!! It's all over rotterdam.
The sad part is......jd would have won!!! And obviously dm and tj hooker knew that.

We never voted for a town clerk since we think it is ridiculous at best.......and we won't be voting in this one either. Too much slime for us!

I honestly do not know the particulars about any of this, but only know what is being said here.  So threats were made to prevent someone from running for office.  Now my take is that if those threats were to expose something illegal I had done or was doing, then I'd back off.  But if that were not the case, and they threatened me in any way, then at that point I am going to come back at them with all cylnders firing and it would energize me a hundred times more to roll over them and crush them.  I've heard about the "threats" before on this forum and it all just seems a little strange IMHO.

The allegations that any threats were made is a bunch of bull crap.

How far would you go if your 90 year old father were getting threatening letters......all in the name of politics?

Back when rotterdamians were trying to fight off a walmart super center, those opposing it actually had phone lines cut and were told...'you better leave town'. TRUTH!! Same players then.....same players today in rotterdam.

there are just toooo many 'vowels' in rotterdam.

A no-vote is essentially a vote for DM, unfortunately

Possibly. I'm just not gonna use my vote as a blocking action. Remember I don't think this should be an elected office.

On the GOP line 6 out of 8 of the candidates have not held political office. For the most part the republicans are not putting retreads out there. Has anyone checked the other line? Because if you did you would see 7 out of 8 HAVE. People talk about wanting no retreads and wanting new people, well this is the opportunity FOR that. Are we serious about wanting new people or do we really want the same old names over and over?

So then you are saying John DiGeorgio is a liar? Because he told me that threats were sent to his wife, family and his elderly father. We all think it is YOU who is the gigantic LIAR.

And if I'm corrent, the one on the Democratic line that HASN'T held public office still has actually run for public office before, correct?  Wouldn't that be Mike Viscusi?
