Nothing like a conspiracy early in the morning, renews ones hope in life.
On April 5, 1987 the Schoharie Creek Bridge (NYS , area of severe flooding from Irene) went down. The collapse killed ten people, many of whom died due to their ignorance. They did not heed a good Samaritan attempting to stem the flow of traffic. The good Samaritan got the finger, the drivers got eternity.
The land the bridge was built on was former farm land owned by an area man. The farmer years previous was involved in a dispute with Mohawk Indians who were squatting on farmers land. The farmer allowed the Mohawks to stay on his land, he was rewarded with people who would not leave. "No good deed goes unpunished." The first rule one needs to know if you live in NY State.
When the Schoharie Bridge 'fell' due the rush of spring flooding & substandard workmanship the farmer heard a loud explosion. The FBI investigated, the farmer was told to keep his mouth shut by the FBI. I wonder why?
Lets add it all up. Generous farmer taken advantage of by Mohawks. A FBI (see DOJ today - subverting Black Panther investigation) always willing to tailor an investigation to suit political influence. Make the 'facts' fit the agenda. A minority with a tommy-hawk to bear.
Federal law enforcement is like Ms Justice, blind. The blindness of the FBI & DOJ is an injustice. You see, we all feel better now, a conspiracy has been born.
One needs to wonder why the FBI does not investifate the 'Day Of Rage people', violent Marxist unions & black on white race violence as agressively as it investigated anti war protesters in the 1960's & 70's. |

The Mohawks had a valid claim to much of the farmers land. Because the farmer was squatting on Mohawk land, does not give him a legal title to the land. The state settled the claim in favor of the Mohawks because their title was valid, the State of NY offered other land to the Mohawks in exchange for the farmers land.
An explosion? If you've seen the size of that bridge, you can imagine it would make a loud 'explosion' type noise as the water washed away the foundation and tons of bridge collapsed.
For some people, nothing happens that isn't part of a conspiracy.

I hate to spoil any good conspiracy theory but........a very good friend of mine, John Hull, who was checking on his mother who lived in Fort Hunter at the time saw the whole thing from about 100 yds away. Sorry no explosion, just a decaying bridge. |

The Bridge collapsed because of 'scouring' on the piers of the bridge. The riprap that was meant to protect the piers from erosion was washed away by flood waters. |

The Bridge collapsed because of 'scouring' on the piers of the bridge. The riprap that was meant to protect the piers from erosion was washed away by flood waters.
And within days after the past flood it has been reported that all the bridges along the MR are perfectly stable with absolutely NO ISSUES (because they say so.) |

I recall that the families whose loved ones died in that collapse sued the state. The Canadian families attorney missed the deadline to submit the paper work to sue. Guess what folks. The claim was denied. I wonder if being Canadian and understanding our laws played a role, I don't know. What I do recall is the deadline was missed by a very short time. I remember my shock at this. How sick is that! |

Must be a bruja put a curse on the bridge, or maybe a little chindi activity there?
Are the chindi working their black magic on any of other bridges through erosion of the footings? |
