PPP Poll ranks the former presidents of the last 50 years according to favorability ratings: 1. John F. Kennedy 2. Ronald Reagan 3. Bill Clinton 4. Gerald Ford 5. George H.W. Bush 6. Jimmy Carter 7. Lyndon Johnson 8. George W. Bush 9. Richard Nixon Personally, as bad as he was, I would have put Nixon ahead of W. I'd rather have a competent crook as president than an imbecile. |

Gerald Ford ranks high because he wasn't in long enough to screw anything up.
How is Jimmy Carter ahead of Lyndon Johnson? Carter gave us 18% mortgage rates and the shame of the Iran Hostage crisis. Johnson did escalate Vietnam, but also he also created the Great Society Gub'ment teet programs that 47% of our populace receive a weekly or monthly check from. |

JFK was immortalized by Hollywood...His popularity is due to a 40 year propaganda campaign. He has a short list of accomplishments and a long list of failure, and a couple of inspirational speeches, followed by a tragic death. |

I couldn't agree more. PPP is a useless DEM front group no wonder JFK is number one. Obama is the worst by any measure. |

Most likely it was Ronny The RayGun. He married Hollywood actress Jane Wyman in the early 1940's. |

Rating presidents and their administrations is ridiculous imo. How can anyone rate an already created form of government, decades in the planning. These administrations, be them dems or reps are all part of the same planned system. They are just a different side of the same coin.
The system just needs a new face every 4-8 years to execute the next part of the system that drives the masses.
So folks....don't get caught up in this 'who was the best pres'. The pres/administration is only as good or as bad as the system dictates and how the system wants the masses to think!
Get off the treadmill folks. THINK FOR YOURSELVES! |

I don't view Paul as part of the current 'created system'. Perhaps you do, in which case you should not vote for him. As for me, I will. Then we can RATE him years from now. |

I don't view Paul as part of the current 'created system'.
Paul isn't running as an Independent, or for a separate distinct party, he is RUNNING FOR THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENT. These are your words: ~ "These administrations, be them dems or reps are all part of the same planned system". ~"The system just needs a new face every 4-8 years" ~"Get off the treadmill folks." Ron Paul is an anti war Republican. He has NO support in congress, so his election promises are worth nothing. He can't pass anything with out the Republicans in congress. You may view him as Lord Savior Jesus Christ, but to the rest of America Paul is just one more Republican. |

Ron Paul is a member of Congress thus he is a part of the system. Anyone who believes that ANY member of Congress is not a part of the system (for a good or for bad) is delusional.
Ron Paul would NOT make a good president as he holds views that would weaken our defense and foreign policy. |
