Personally, I have no problem with an exemption for "in-law apartments" .. it encourages keeping seniors at home and near their families.

The 2011 budget included a property tax increase. It was reduced from that originally proposed by DelGallo. The lack of recovered revenues from REMS will result either in taking more funding from the reserve or increasing taxes in 2012 to cover the deficit spending. |

The only people to blame for uncollected ALS fees are Frank Del Gallo and Bob Godlewski ---- they have been asked for over a year and a half to sign ALS reimbursement contracts with EVERY ambulance service that answers in calls in the town and simply refuse to do so. SHAME ON THEM. |

Bottomline --- the Democratic Party has an awesome chairman and a full slate of committee persons .. once we get past the Primaries -- there will be a few new faces on the committee and some "troublesome" old faces will be gone.
We have been working together well under the new chairman and once the primary is past == we will be working even more effectively together.
