...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

You can call them and they will send you a complete report where all of the money goes. You will find that the lion's share of the money goes DOWNSTATE!

For every $1 spent on the lottery, $.34 goes to education, $.58 is allocated to winners in the forum of prizes, and $.06 is paid to retailers for their sales commissions.

Most lotto dollars originate downstate, but are spent according to a formula of state aid.

NYS can promote gambling every turn you take, but a private citizen can't have a football club in a tavern...The State boys will kick to door down and fine you THOUSANDS of dollars, then pad lock the door.  The state HATES competition.  Gambling is bad...Unless the profits pay for government bureaucrats.  The State makes underground bookmakers look like rank amateurs when it comes to protecting their turf.
