By going awry- would that be Eve biting the apple ? and then God needing to send Jesus to be a propitiation .  Are we the retarded planet ?

Perhaps we are the litmus test for future created life on other planets. Perhaps God will do it 'better' next time, huh?

but We have FREE WILL

I saw Billy Graham  answer this question on the Phil Donahue  show a long time ago -

Consider the possibility  that our universe can fit on the head of a pin.  There are most probably other life forms - ( not suffering from arrested development- like us  )- and  so his Son only had to come here to " square things up ".

I dont disagree with self discipline that's why we are able to drive cars in opposite directions at high speeds every day....self discipline and the
logical use of the muscle between the ears prevents man-made pre-crime laws.....when our government starts to have pre-crime laws and behavior
modification laws we loose sight of the self and personal responsibility and the conversation turns into  a "they need to do something" excuse...

we are humans with logic, reason, emotion, envy, greed, love, hate, survival instincts etc etc.......anyone who thinks we are the worst or that
war shouldn't be 'if only this or that', famine shouldn't be 'if only this or that' etc etc hasn't looked in the mirror lately....or has and forgotten
what they saw...

Man happens to be the dominate species on this planet, but only for a relatively short period time.
Dinosaurs were the dominate species for 165 million years...(Were they made in His Image and Likeness?)
Homo Sapiens have been on earth for only the last 200,000 years.

The earth did quite well with out us and would, no doubt, heal from the damage that humans have inflicted on our planet once we are no longer here.

With the damage being done to our earth, an alien being might look at our world and see us, not as the dominate species, but as an infestation on the planet.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

But since we are discussing 'the bible'............didn't God say he created 'adam and eve' in His image? (not the dinosaurs)And the human race was to have dominion over the animals and the earth....no?

And is God really surprised or disappointed in how we 'take care' of the earth? He knew! And is God as concerned about the physical earth as He is about the human's soul and salvation? Again....discussing the bible.

If ya feel yourself as an infestation and a bug why dont you just set the example and go drink some deet....I dont disagree that we probably are
NOT the smartest in this whole universe of one(we think), but here we are, and we are DOMINATE for now...sure we may be as the locusts that
eat the food we need to eat but we also have no idea when the earth will be hit by an asteroid either......

so, here we are doing our thing,( we think) and, we think we are like something we have never seen---because 'they' told us....just like
science as good as it is ISN'T remotely close to exact/perfect.....it's just what we do to get away from the human sacrifices by fire..

The same place it always starts:

Cicero:

It's sad Senders, but this is the best that Cicero can do.
