OK, everyone here has picked an ideal candidate for president, and assuming all the of democraps are firmly behind Obummer, who do you want to see win? And if any of the democraps have the guts to go against the democrap bosses, who would you like to see take on Obummer and go on to the presidency?

Surprised DVFOL havn't commented. He is afraid of Gardner and Savage and doesn't want to buck anyone or he won't get ahead. I guess he is all for Obummer.

Romney will (IMO) win the Republican Nomination and oppose Obama.  Obama will win... as it stands now.

There are so many variables, and over a year for the deciding issues to come to the public eye.  A huge drop or gain in the number of new jobs, unemployment or a new terrorist attack inside the USA, could change everything.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Ron Paul, although Romney will win the nom because the Perry, Bachmann and Palin voters will cancel each other out.

All Romney has to do is NOT pick a VP nominee to appease the social right, and he can call the movers for him AND Barry....

I am surprised no one called for Evan Bayh as a democrap.

There is still 2 months for a potential challenger to enter the Democratic Presidential Primary race -- October 21 being the deadline to file papers to run in some of the early state primaries.

There are rumors that a modern-day "Gene McCarthy candidate" will enter the race in the next month or so --- not necessarily expecting to win the nomination ... but hoping to garner enough votes in the early primaries to force President Obama OUT of the race.  At that point, the race would open up for bigger name Democrats to jump in the race.
