Gluttony, it is still a sin the last time I checked. "Treviso Mallozzi's known's what to do with Italian fare" by Caroline Lee AT THE TABLE - Sunday Gazette. The Mallozzi's family runs excellent eating establishments but how much can one eat? The two ladies detailing their 'food orgy' are oblivious to fat content, starving Somalien's & politically correct eating. The two ladies are from down state. Down state is a place where people have no concept of where electricity, water & natural gas come from. Someone provides these things but it is a mystery. They have no appreciation they live better than the upstate folk. New York State down state is prosperous, upstate in hurting. Upstate is a colony. All of us have vices but is it necessary to detail the gluttonous rampage of a privileged class? In a time when tens of millions require food stamp assistance, foreclosed houses litter the lower 48, do we need to read about about the feeding frenzy of two women. The $91 cost of the banquet for two is what 10 +/- balanced meals cost my wife & I. Overeating is never fashionable, it is bad manners complimented by bad taste. |
