MISCELLANEOUS ADJOURNMENT FRANCIS DEL GALLO, Supervisor
233.11 Amend Resolution No. 17.11 adopted on January 1, 2011 to appoint John Macejka, Jr. as Part-Time Assessor for the Town of Rotterdam, effective January 1, 2011, with no employee benefits to reflect the term of his appointment to concludeSeptember 30, 2013.
Looks like they are pulling a "Surprise" appointment. Looks like if the next admin wants to appoint somebody more competent to that position, they'll have to lower the salary to $1 to get him to leave.
Dispute over Michelle Gannon's new salary...BG would not support the salary increase, asserting that she is serving as the legally required Clerk as the Deputy that inherits the duties of the Clerk when a vacancy is created. ND, WC and FDG argue that she was sworn in as the Clerk and should be paid the Clerk's salary. MM said nothing...vote will probably be 3-2 in favor.
On 232.11... BG refuses to support because the position was originally a one month appointment and the budget will not allow the appointment...the position is requested by the Justice Court. ND suggests transferring Cindy Dumar from Public Works to Court, having the paralegal experience preferred. FDG suggests another employee lacking similar knowledge or experience...ND insists on Dumar...no agreement is reached.
233.11... Disagreement over terms with Macejka....FDG wants to amend his appointed term to extend through 2013...the others argue that Macejka accepted one year appointment. Vote will probably be 4-1 against on this one - against FDG - lol.
234.11... Dispatcher is a new mother who wants to reduce her hours...FDG said if they reduce it to part time they are not getting another full timer later.
238.11... HUGE argument over what turns out to be payment for roofing work on a structure in the Softball Park...the Town wasn't supposed to pay for the work...Griesemer told ND at the time the work was done that the Town wasn't paying, but apparently one of the Softball League officials contracted the work and now wants the Town to pay the bill...FDG wants to pay for it. I think this one will go down...4-1?
Andy Brick was there to address his client's map plan for a sewer district....he urged the Board to hold the public hearing but to delay a vote as there are other possible alternate plans, depending on undisclosed circumstances....and he mentioned METROKRATZ involvement, but no details. If I'm not mistaken, the 'Plex Cartel cannot be financially involved in this type of project.
Not a word about REMS...FDG greeted me with a handshake as he entered the meeting...my first comment to him was about the unbelieveable notion that he is buying REMS manufactured "records"...and what a dope he is in falling for it.
Dope??? You would know all about dope eh Kelly Bigmouth. And your wrong on all your vote predictions. Not bad for a horses a** with a horse face. Naaaaaa

Aww poor peeps did gadfly take your bubblegum and leave you on the playground crying again?
Seem to know an awful lot of the way Kelly thinks and acts. Very interesting. I'd be careful about those threats though. People have been known to carry all types of contriband and weapons up their "sleeves." Sure you want to go there Mary?? I wouldn't.

And if they don't have weapons up their sleeves, they use Weineritis to send alledged "hacked" threatening emails to politicians!
I seem to recall rotterdam back when walmart proposed a super center. Those rotterdamians that were the most vocal in opposition to the development, had their phone lines cut, were told to leave town and were threatened. YUP.....and that is no kidding either....pinky swear!!!
Same players......same behavior.........different issues.

Not a joking matter Mary. Kelly has a history of violence. Anyone who smacks around their own mother has issues. It is well documented that her anger issues have often got the best of her. Not afraid but aware.....
