The person 'who receives taxes' should be cross trained to work in the TC's office. Both offices have way too much time on their hands. Cut both salaries in half and save the taxpayer's money.

Don't know how 'Long-ness' would like that tho!

Notice how automation has replaced people in private industry, but not in local government? We have a thing called a computer now, it doesn't take as many people to perform clerical functions as it used to.
