The bottom line here is that planned parenthood 'lies' to keep the flow of millions of dollars of taxpayer money coming in. And there ARE other health care facilities/clinics that offer the same if not more (mammograms) services than planned parenthood.

"New Hampshire Defunds Planned Parenthood"!!! WOW! That's great! No more taxpayer funded abortions in New Hampshire! What do you mean... there weren't any taxpayer funded abortions? Nope.None!
But... cutting funding for PPn in New Hampshire will mean: ~ Last year, Planned Parenthood provided contraception for 13,242 patients in New Hampshire (so with out birth control, there will be MORE ABORTIONS and MORE UNWANTED CHILDREN in New Hampshire.) ~ The organization also provided 6,112 breast exams... (those women will just have to do with out breast exams.) ~ PP provided 5,548 screenings for cervical cancer. (Those women will just have to deal with cervical cancer.) ~ 18,858 tests for sexually transmitted infections. (You might want to double wrap that rascal if you plan on having sex in New Hampshire... but the real tragedy will be watching STD's spread through high schools in New Hampshire.)
An estimated 70 percent of PP's women don’t have insurance to cover the cost of birth control prescriptions.
I'm sure the Politicians who voted to cut funding for women's health care in New Hampshire are very proud of themselves. They ended not one taxpayer funded abortions ,but caused untold health problems for NH's women.

If you support them then you fund them end of story, nobody is stopping you or their supporters of putting their money where their mouth is.
"An estimated 70 percent of PP's women don’t have insurance to cover the cost of birth control prescription"
You gotta love this comment like overpriced prescriptions are the only prevention for pregnancy

NH will deal with the baby boom this will create, and since most of these women are poor, this will push them on to welfare and social services. Great money saver this!

Great move by New Hampshire. The best State {along with Maine} in the North East. Biggest problem all the Mass residents moving in with their big tax/big government/ socialist ideas. Stop telling us how you did it in Greenfield.

They will try but lets hope they live up to their motto Live free or die

"Live Free or Die"!!! A great motto. Very appropriate for all those women who will DIE from breast cancer and cervical cancer now that the Conservatives have cut off their access to cancer screening.
I wonder how many women will die needlessly before they restore funding.

Then close them. Firmly on both sides of this argument. Tell us again how an abortion mill cuts cancer rates. Go see Father Morrette.
I have no idea who Father Morrette is.
We MUST close abortion mills... so that the masses won't have access to the procedure... Of course rich women have always had access to safe clean and discrete abortions. Roe V Wade made no difference in their Lives. Neither will closing PP.
The mammogram issue again?
PP doesn't provide mammograms, they never did... but if a PP breast exam indicates that a mammogram is necessary, PP will refer to a place that will offer low cost mammograms to women who have no health insurance or can't afford one. A very necessary services... Rich women, of course, have always had access to mammograms so closing a PP clinic that refers to mammograms for poor women will have no effect on the legislators who voted for this cut.
Again, how many women die in NH before they rethink this cut. As long as it's poor women, probably hundreds... or thousands.

Nice try at fear propaganda but the truth is the government should have never been involved any ways. And again if you feel so sincere on the subject why don't you write out a check and fund them, I'm sure they will gladly accept your donation. If you don't have the money do one better and volunteer your time, go teach kids the risks of unprotected sex and so forth. We all know you won't though because you believe that is the governments job and only the government can do things correctly.

What little faith you have in humanity. Your logic says poor women are stupid with no self control and will become baby factories and welfare moms without planned parenthood.

Aren't you a real feminist.
Ya got this one 100% WRONG Cicero.
I'm saying that poor women with no health care, now that NH has shut down low cost breast exams, cervical cancer and STD screening... Will get sick...some will die, many will get pregnant that wouldn't have if PP still offered birth control... and in the end, the Republicans will get their way. More women will get sick, get cancer, get STD's and die. But eliminating the poor won't necessarily be a bad thing for the Conservativs in the group.

No...I'm pretty sure I quoted you saying that NH's defunding of Planned Parenthood would create a "baby boom" the NH would have to deal with the cost of putting poor mothers on welfare and social services.
You sound much more interested in social engineering and the monetary costs on society than your concern with women's health. But that's not surprising coming from a statist like yourself. The only thing surprising is libs like you usually disguise your intentions of taking away individual rights as some kind of personal benefit or something gained at the hands of government. Your statement was quite candid and honest.
