Selective reading makes you biased - obviously they've chosen not to participate

This site is obviously bias because the DEM town morons are in hiding and refuse to run on their pathetic record of record tax increases and "service" in Town Hall. Can you blame them? The smart DEMS either fled or are not running for re-election.

That also includes Parisi's tax increase last year and his self-serving motives to support the tax district.

If this site was biased, then it would have a remark each time you posted a story or remark to any of the topics.  Something to the effect of "Your post will be reviewed and allowed once moderated."  Since we see none of those, then I would say that this site is as biased as the people who decide to post and what they decide to post.  This site allows freedom of speech, and does not ask party affiliation or what your actual name is.  Some people decide to use their real names, some don't.  That's another sign that it's not biased, since the administrator of the site doesn't even have the ability to find out who the members are.  How can it be biased?  If you think this site is biased now, you should have been around when Tommasone and crew were in the Town Board.  There was just as much going on here then as there is now, at least that's my personal view on it.  Anyone else can give you their determination.

In the mind of a few Republicans, the minute this site turned "biased" in their mind, is when the forum members began questioning their own support for the Tommasone/Parisi administration.  Kevin is correct...During the time the Tommasone Administration was faced with the Wal-Mart issue, many members on this site voiced their opinions and many supported the Administration.  Then,,,somebody in the Administration had the brilliant idea of attempting to pass a permissive referendum creating a NEW taxing district for REMS and that's where they made the HUGE political miscalculation.  If you look at the publics opposition of the taxing district, you will realize that it was not partisan opposition.  The taxing district was supported by politicians that were Democrats, Republicans and Conservatives, and it still went down 2 to 1.  It was an obvious disregard for the public's will, and waste of public money.  Those Republicans that made the decision to attempt to ram through a taxing district made their own beds, now they must sleep in it.

Unfortunately for GP, the NNTP guys were the ONLY ones who were on record as opposing the tax district.  Clearly they were in touch with the voters, more so than the Parisi team.

This site clearly leans to the right, but that's just because more conservative posters are on here than liberal. If I were a democrat and running for office I'd be posting my opinions on here so the public knows where I stand. It seems that the Dems are going with the approach of not talking about the issues and hoping they will win this election by making it a non event. I'm not a fan of this tactic.

that is a time honored method and it usually works, especially for someone with higher name recognition. Playing cute works. Sad but true.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

On the contrary....the dems have NOTHING to bring to the table. They are a total embarrassement, especially after the REVITALIZE ROTTERDAM FIASCO. Combine that with an awol rotterdam clerk. Supporting a taxing district! Supporting a $10M + police station. Couple that with a city that now houses 2 hamilton hills, highest taxes in the state, increased crime, can't afford to maintain the infrastructure and now obscures democracy by denying commissioner of deeds to the opposition!

The dems would have to be OUT OF THEIR MINDS to post anything here! They would be eaten up and spit out!!!! They have no issues to talk about. All they have is 'hope'!!!

Although DVR is clearly their spokesperson!!!

before DVR and a few others began posting here, this forum consisted of a bunch of dogs barking in an empty garage- didnt you hear the echo ?  Sure maybe these are the inner most thoughts and feelings of a  bunch of very frustrated people- but really honestly  most of you have a 3rd grade report card someplace that says ' does not work or play well with others ".

You think your presenting  ' the other side ' - like there is only one other side - and i use the term 'presenting' loosely-  like gadfly's definition of having a discussion-  my God.

and somehow these pesky dem liberal socialist snuck up on you ? - over the last 40 years you think ? or maybe was it 50- 60 +

and  when you moved here from wherever- who were you listening to ? because you werent paying close enough attention -

Now the Salami expects people to listen to him ?' Hey let me and my boys run the place for 40 0r fifty years and everything will be waaay better ' -
