Why do we need a Marriage Officer Alternate now?  It's only been how long since the actual officer has been seen in town.  Remove her from the position and replace her with the new appointee, reducing and increasing compensation accordingly.

Why don't they  just have the judge marry folks?

Again.......rotterdam is already paying a judge that can marry folks!! I'm sure DP has a lot of time on her hands, but perhaps she could do other things other than marry folks, which the rotterdam judge can already do! DUH!!

Perhaps she could have helped out in the 'super's office' so the taxpayers wouldn't have to pay 10's of thousands for this special super secretary....no?

it is frustrating that we(parks and rec committee) sent a proposal 14 months ago to this board and we haven’t heard “BOO”
8 months ago we(parks and rec committee)  submitted documents to the board and again nothing
4 months ago we (parks and rec committee) asked for a separate acct to allow for park donations and fund raiser moneys to be held in escrow with withdrawals approved by both (parks and rec committee) and a majority of the town board – monies limited to parks and recs
And yet mr supervisor res216.11 is under consent items
In my 14 years this town is in the worst condition yet

FDG - you would have to take your pay than do what you want(this text is in the correct place)

Matt- I have a draft resolution that gives the supervisor the authorization to create the acct

Motion to add 215.11 allows for restricted escrow acct to accept donations and fund raising - cash

Trip s
Tuesday  july 26 sturbrerge MA village   $52
Grease aug 13

Wayne  - I did not bring the public safety report with me and I will report the #’s in July

PUBLIC COMMENT PRIVILEGE OF FLOOR

Rich M
I attended the planning commission meeting last night
Concerning floral Ave 4 unit apt project
There is a consensual understanding that mr delorenzo believes he is in the up and up

An Engineer for the town  states the applicant cannot build
The planning commission was aggravated that the public was resisting this project

a public service is for the residents not a resident

Mike C

Please consider reinstating Ice Cream Truck Service I have a petition with 50 names(over heard to be taxpayers not his peers)
(Note Mike is no taller than the towns podium and about 8-10 years old and represented his point better than some adults who come to the podium)
Please let them try a 30 day trial

FDG -  Ice cream trucks –I was building a pool on putnam rd – On the day a young girl was hit by a car over a nickel,  her dog ripped thru the screen door to get to her body  - times have changed and ice cream truck are much safer

Jack S
We know that molly is returning in a few days we want molly back and cindy to be placed at the courts – here is our petition

Who will replace norman who is retiring this month????

Fdg - the lawyers are negotiating that
Jack  -Cindy has done a great given what has gone on,   Peanut  - has done a great job for the last 4 week with both brass rail employees not coming to work, sometimes without calling

Nicki - the employees who were give a raise to have not shown up to work???

FDG - One was let go
FDG -The other has a sickness

Jack -I have asked Mike G. if they have called in

FDG - Mike does not have to talk to you.   The the kitchen will be closed in july,  I can tell you things you don't know

Brian C -  I own mister ding-a-ling trucks – we would like a trial period

Todd K  -Mr Del Gallo I too was a witness to the accident on Putnam rd , Until this town passes ordinances like those surrounding School buses I cannot support Ice Cream trucks – the issue is not the trucks and their drivers but others on the road distracted by cell phones, texting and friends

Wayne -  the town cannot pass town laws that affect state roads

Todd - I would hope the trucks would only be on town roads

Donna S
I was at the town meeting in Rotterdam Junction
There is still a speed issue in county walk - this has been going on for years
The recommendation that was made was to lower the speed limit to 25mph

FDG - People are speeding on your st

Donna  - cars have been stopped by RPD but there have been no tickets issued
Shardon ct is a blinds turn on to county walk in the summer
It is not just students it is adults who speed
What would have to be done to lower the speed limit  - we want to know what to do

Wayne -  the police would have do a study, And put the speed wagon in

Donna  - The last I heard is it was out of service

Wayne – it has been repaired

An Ice Cream Truck driver (missed the name)- I will personally be driving
Would you ban a fedex truck if a child got hit???

Wendy - I will second the traffic issues
Think 30 is way to fast it should be 20mph

Mark D- what is going on with the town budget
Now we have 2 percent tax cap
Where is the money coming from to refund the fund balance?
The seniors deserve not to be politicized

FDG - We will find out at budget time

Mark  - How much cash is in the fund balance
We took out 2million in January
This town borrowed money at Crazy high interest rates
Does anybody have an idea?

Silence -----------------------

7:53 pm - meeting complete

(Per Resolution No. 444.06) G
General Rules of Procedure for Public Hearings & Privilege of the Floor:
Each speaker will state his/her name and address for the record. To ensure each attendee has an equal and reasonable opportunity to address their concerns, he/she is afforded a maximum of four (4) minutes to address the Town Board.

I imagine he would never in a million years even get 900K. So what? None of our houses are worth squat, thank you big government for your "managing" of the economy.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
