Palin emails show political persona, husband's key role By Robert O’Harrow Jr. and David A. Fahrenthold – Fri Jun 10, 1:53 pm ET
JUNEAU, Alaska--The state of Alaska on Friday released more than 13,000 e-mails that shed light on Sarah Palin's tenure as governor — before she became a vice-presidential candidate, a reality-TV star, and an undeclared heavyweight in the 2012 race for the White House. Many of the e-mails dealt with the mundane matters of running an office and a state: speech preparations, gubernatorial appointments, even office softball games. Others, however, provide a look at Palin’s political persona, before she was catapulted into the national spotlight. In one e-mail, written weeks before Palin was chosen as a running mate by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Palin praises a speech by the man who would be McCain’s opponent in the 2008 presidential race................>>>>......................>>>>..............http://news.yahoo.com/s/washpost/20110610/pl_washpost/sarahpalinemailsreleasedtoday
Are we actually paying people to read these emails???? OMG!! Who really gives a crap? No body really cares....really! Ya don't have to read her emails to know that she is not presidential material. And if she is as true a tea partier as she claims, than she will support Ron Paul!! She 'can' be a 'king maker'!

It is interesting that all of the networks and news agencies that claim Sarah Palin is not worth all of the media attention -- keep giving her media attention.
I consider her and Rick Santorum to be the best potential Presidential candidates that the GOP has to offer in 2012 -- I would even throw Rick Perry onto my "short list". My prediction is that the GOP ticket will include at least 1 person from that "short list" -- if not 2 persons from that list.

They say their ratings are higher when they air something...anything.....about palin!
And as of today, they have found NOTHING in her emails that are worth anything....so far!

Is that becuase you idolize her way of putting a spin on everything similar to how you do? She's got you beat, but you are trying hard to out do her!!!!!
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!
The MSM is digging through this in a failed attempt to take pig Anthony Weiner off the front pages. Palin is not going to be the REP candidate. DVR wants her because she is polling the worst. She might be the only one incompetent Obama can beat. Emphasis on might. Chris Christie would win 40 states. Paul, Pawlenty and Cain are all rising in the polls. Anyone but Obama.
Who cares about e-mails, unless they're digging to find something Weiner-like that I would bet they wouldn't find. Also, I wouldn't care what was in e-mails, no matter what party it was. You didn't see them digging through Bill Clinton's e-mails looking for something on the blue dress, did you?
It's been a few days and the press can't seem to find anything bad in them. I bet they are getting pissed.

I'm not a big Sarah Palin fan, but it seems to me that they think it's their job to take her down or something. They didn't get this way over John Edwards until the Enquirer started it.
The interest in Palin's emails started because over a thousand of them were withheld during an ethics investigation. MotherJohes used the Freedom of Information Law to gain access to emails that had official subject lines, but were excluded.

I have a feeling they are going to be pretty boring. I know if you read mine, unless you have an interest in pro (not consumer) audio, you would be bored to tears.
Don't most people delete email after they've read them, or are public officials required to keep them? One thing is for damned sure, those emails will never appear in a presidential library.
