Unlike the war in Iraq, the war in Libya is a NATO operation with US troops participating... not a US war against Libya.

The mission, success and timeline are a NATO decision.  The US can withdraw from the operation at any time it chooses.

Spin it any way you want, but we are the foundation of NATO..without us, NATO falls apart and YOU know it

You really don't believe that the operation is a NATO operation?  Granted the President of the United States allowed the men and
women serving in our military to be placed under the control of NATO, but, even the biased liberal media has reported that the vast
majority of firepower is being supplied by our nation.

Stop being disingenuous.  Debate from a position of truth.  You discredit your argument when you exaggerate the facts.

Obama didn't like 2 wars in the Middle East. So he got involved in a third. What War Powers Act? Someone finally told him there wasn't oil in Afghanistan.

As far as Rep Cantor, I hope and pray that one day we can elect a statesman like him for our district. Instead of the Obama puppet gasbag we currently have.

The mission, success and timeline should be known by the President and should have been communicated to both Congress and the
American people before commiting troops.    Did the President understand the mission or only agree to place our young men and women
in harms way to "wag the dog" and avert attention away from the failure of his economic policies?

As for the US withdrawing from operations when she chooses, Obama made the decisions to commit our military unilaterally, without
consulting with or receiving the approval of Congress and without addressing the American people to explain the mission.
polls  Many Americans still don't understand how it is in our nation's vital interests to be involved or who is in charge.

The majority of Americans believe that our military will still be engaged fighting in Libya at the end of 2011.

Obama promised (and kept his promise) to withdraw all US combat forces from Iraq in 16 months.
The result:
(US Military Fatalities By Year)
Year     US
2003     486
2004     849
2005     846
2006     822
2007     904
2008     314
2009     149
2010  60
2011  24
Total     4454

God Bless Barack Hussein Obama!

So, if all troops were withdrawn within 16 months of his inauguration, how was anybody even THERE to be killed in 2011? They should have been out by May 2010 (this is assuming that all 60 of those who were killed in 2010 were prior to May, which, I doubt they were).  That's an awful lot of people who aren't supposed to be somewhere being killed.

50,000 US troops are still left in Iraq, but we're not supposed to think about that.

One more time slowly for Kevin:

Obama promised (and kept his promise) to withdraw all US combat forces from Iraq in 16 months

Not all US forces... Not just the ones getting shot at... Not the ones in harms way...
but ALL US COMBAT FORCES.

The Bush optional war in Iraq was a disaster from the very beginning... poor planning, almost no after action planning, fatal mistakes once the major battles were over and of course as we all know now and knew then... NO WMD'S.

If Obama manages to get all US troops out of Iraq by the end of his term, his efforts there will have been a huge success.

Whether an act is perpetrated by an individual or by that individual as part of a group, it makes no difference to me.
The involvement is still there.
