Between the supervisor contradicting the Town Attorney and the deputy supervisor blowing more hot air than a leaky furnace -- one can only hope the next 8 months go quickly .. then we will have a team, led by Mr. Buffardi, in Town Hall that we can be proud of and that will SOLVE problems instead of creating more of them. |

For the record, I did not say that the Mohonasen student who is a member of the Parks Commission was a member of the basketball team.
What I did say was that like the members of the basketball team - the young man from Mohonasen who serves on the Parks Commission represents his school well --- that all of these student reflect well on the job that the school is doing.

Also no mention of the Charter School. Saw those people looking at the school yesterday. My neighbor went over and asked who they were. Of course, another Charter School nightmare ruining our neighborhood. We are going to need some help to stop this people. This is enough to run residents right out of the town. How are they going to pay to heat this building for 150 kids? Wow! Taxpayers again. How about paying the bank millions? Taxpayers again. Aren't there schools in Shalmont that are closing? I'm sure these schools are in a lot better condition then the Draper School is. Considering it has been empty for a couple of years and a lot of the building has been vandalized. The windows are broken and all need to be replaced. What the hell are they thinking? We were told the zoning was changed so that a school could not occupy that building again. Oh that's right. Wouldn't put this school in the elitists part of town. Just us poor folk get to put up with this crap.
oh sure ...... toss that ball over to our side of town solve the tenure issue and end the charter school nightmare figure out how to get regents score over 80% without changing the test - the issue lies with how and what we teach our children bring it back down to earth give the children skills on which to survive not suckle |
