"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

This is done every single day!! Where do you think the stimulus money went? It clearly didn't go to private non union shops. They 'had' to go to union shops. So it actually cost the taxpayers 'more' money!!

Another 'bend over' event!!!

The union thugs are putting pressure on South Carolina [Boeing Aircraft] because they didn't open up a new assembly line in Washington State where there was a big strike that cost the company a lot of money a while ago. To prevent that from happening again Boeing moved to a right to work state SC and opened a new plant that is non union.

We do need to get rid of unions.  Make sure everyone gets paid $10 an hour and no benefits.  But the business owners, they can get their millions in taxpayer handouts and never want for anything.  Where is Helen Quirini?

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

You do realize the most jobs with benefits are non-union?

IF YOU HAVE:

*an 8 hour work day...
*a 5 day work week...
*paid sick days, vacation or holidays...
*family and medical leave...
*health, life and disability insurance...
*a pension...
*safe and healthy working conditions...
*much more...

THEN THANK A UNION!

I'll thank the Union pioneers of the first half of the 20th century, but the corrupt, deceitful Jimmy Hoffa types of the last 60 years aren't part of it.

A unions real goal used to be to create a safe healthy work environment, a fair wage for their workers, and reasonable benefits. When the international unions became political lobbyists and political activists is where the movement went wrong. They corrected all the horrible work conditions, wages and safety issues of long ago and for that we are all indebted.

I am a self-reliant entrepreneur and I have none of the above. I do have health insurance and lief insurance that I totally self-fund. I enjoy the risk and the freedom, but I don't enjoy the punishment that liberals are intent on foisting on me for my choice of self-reliance and refusal to be a lamb.

Self Reliant... so he pays taxes???  And what is deductible as a 'business expense' on his taxes???  When he takes the wife and brother in law out to dinner and picks up the tab... it's deducted on his income tax as a "business meeting".  His car that he needs for his business... when he drives to Florida, the gas used, the depreciation on the car, the motels he stays in on the way, all tax deductible. In other words, the rest of the tax payers pay for his ... how did he put it...self-reliance.

He still pays taxes which is more than 47% of the population in the USA do. If people don't like the tax code that the government put together then change it to a fair tax and then everyone pays their fair share.

He still pays his taxes???  You mean like GE does???
You assume that the 47% of the population that doesn't pay taxes is the poor (that it should be) but what about the "self reliant" businessmen who never pay a penny in taxes... they are included in the 47%.

you can own a business too if you wish.....we have all chosen the place we are in.....

if I own a business and you were an outstanding employee working for me I would share in the bounty.....unions dont prevent crooked owners they
enable them and elected officials to 'hide' their bounty and take take take........

remove the middleman and the exposure would be cleansing....
