Court says notification of meeting invalid, but county GOP vote echoes town picks
The original Rotterdam Republican Committee’s endorsements for the upcoming election were ruled invalid, but the Schenectady County GOP has voted to endorse a similar slate with two last-minute changes.
In late May, State Supreme Court Justice Vincent Reilly Jr. ruled in favor of former Rotterdam Town Board member Gerard Parisi’s lawsuit against the Town Republican Committee endorsements for the 2011 election. The decision hinged on the committee not providing proper notice of the April 14 meeting. According to the committee’s by-laws, a meeting to vote for endorsements requires each member to receive a mailed notice five days before the meeting.

Before Donovan received the court’s decision, she had already mailed out letters on Thursday, May 26, announcing a new vote. The town GOP met Monday, June 6, prior to the county vote to forward the names for new candidates filling vacancies. Later that night, the county GOP officially endorsed the slate.

No one cares. The Unity REP/NNTP slate was endorsed by the entire County REP Committee. The attempt to embarrass Tracy backfired. Meanwhile FDG is running a full slate including Bill Cooke against the unpopular the DEM slate which includes Excusi and WC.
The residents have had enough of the DEM funny farm for the past 2 years. The only hope is to vote Row B all the way. Throw every one of these DEM morons out of town hall.

It pretty much brought Satanb. to tears. Conservative primaries, OTB's galore from a whole gaggle of dems and conservatives who all want the same nominations. Bill Cooke beats Mike V easy. Democraps don't forget who was just a republican candidate a few months ago. The rest are all gonna be interesting but I won't go out on any limbs. The third party spoiler line will be a killer for the democraps.

yet another back peddler!! Almost 2 years ago....every liberal democon was out there saying how great fdg's REVITALIZE ROTTERDAM was going to be!!! How the town hall was going to be run like a business. How there was going to be transparency. How they were going to work together as a team. How taxes were going to be lowered. How finally they were going to 'clean out the barn'...which stinks worse now then it did before!!! Good job!!

HB is still in hiding! Rotterdamians don't even know what he looks like. He has stated that he wasn't seeking to run for anything and really didn't want to run this time!!! They democons pulled him off the couch just like they pulled fdg off the couch!! All rotterdamians remember about HB is that one of his inmates escaped under his watch and resigned his position soon after.
I believe he resigned 3 years after the escape.......not really soon after. Better find a new donut shop to hang at...

The orgy is over for Town DEMS. The Pool Party will out spend them, out work them and Bill Cooke will stomp the flipper. When the dust settles the REP/NNTP Unity slate will beat a badly split DEMS.
