The democraps are so unified that they have their past standard bearer and former chairman running for town board in a PRIMARY alng with some prominent dem named Delores and they have a another coupe of people on the FDG slate too! What is unified about THAT?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Nice to  see that since mcgoofy doesn't have the support of the majority of the rotterdam committee that those in nisky, glenville, d'burg, and the city came in and endorsed candidates for rotterdam. Nothing like having outsiders determine who your elected officials are....I seem to remember a war being fought over this.......

The court ruled on the notice only. A Quorum was met on April 14th.

It remains to be seen if Mr. Cooke can get enough signatures to force a primary and Mr. Del Gallo can get enough to form another party.   Mr. Cooke doesn't have much support among the committee members and I can't imagine he has much support among the rank and file of the party either  -- his years as party chairman are not remembered with fondness and happy memories .... and I wonder what kind of deal he got from Mr. Del Gallo to enter the race.     MMMM... he did get an appointment to the Ethics Commission .. was that part of the quid pro quo ???

NOW you are accusing Cooke or being a Crook?

Has anyone ever seen Arrested Development where Justin Bateman sings " You're a crook Captaon Hook! You're a CROOK!"

Oh Ron you are too funny. For a long time Bill Cooke WAS the democrat party in Rdam'. He wins any primary hands down.

Bill Cooke has more class than the current DEM chair. He's also more of a gentleman. Many were shocked to see TJ Hooker at the County Leg with his chair rudely facing the speaker. He could care less about the public or someone from an opposing party. At least pretend to listen to the peeps before voting like a stooge.

TDonovan read the decision again!!!!!!!!! The judge did NOT say quorum was met he said because you fu(ked up notice he didn't even need to look at quorum because you fu(ked up notice so the meeting was illegal! Do NOT lie about what the court said...It said all other issues are academic as the notice was improper...once a court finds one fu(k up they won't waste their time looking for more. K? Thx Congratulations! Your chairmanship has been the worst ever, in any party in any municipality in the country!

The master of the over statement-another Cuba again? Worse than the City REPS for the past 10 years? Worse than the Glenville DEMS? We can find worse examples in this County. Come up for air.

I think Spidey went a little overboard....but the underlying point made I think is absolutely true! The court didn't rule on quorum because it didn't have to! And who has done a worse job as chair than her? I hear committee members are resigning en masse..

TJ Hooker's coercive leadership is the reason why the rotterdam dem party is in the mess it's in today. And those that follow his lead will seal their own fate. imo

Wow as a new member to this board I had no idea how wild our town politics are. It seems both parties are full
of infighting that seems more personal than ideological.

Failure is an orphan. No DEM wants to man up to the mess they alone created over the past two years. No REPS left to blame. Taxes way up, major employer fled, development funds wasted on a governmental gin mill, out of county hiring, REMS fiasco, etc, etc....

Yeah, about a dozen people are privy to the "inside baseball" filled with personal vendettas and in-fighting. The vast majority of voters don't care who scorned whom in 2003 or something.

Nobody cares about notice and quorum requirements. All they know is that town taxes are way up and the DEMS have run Town Hall like a funny farm the past two years. Bring on the primaries-lol.
