The reason the USA is broke is in the graph... the middle class is being taxed to pay for the tax cuts to the rich.

C'mon box, explain to me how this graph is proof why the U.S. is broke.lol...You are so funny...You don't even know how to read a graph.hahahahahahaha

Just wondering, as I look at your argument here, who is it that makes the main decisions that keep the company running and profitable?  Also, how many CEO's does each company have?  And the number of "average workers?"  I would bet that the total dollar amount that the CEO would be getting as a raise would be less than the amount that they are paying to their employees, especially if they have a company big enough to have a CEO that doesn't take part in the daily work.  If s/he does, then they deserve the money for doing both the business end, as well as the grunt work that the "average worker" does.

And just a question, who was it that changed it so that social security was payments for a lifetime, versus what it was originally, a one time payment?  Not that it's constitutional either way...

Prosperity used to be shared in American business.  When the CEO did well, his employees did well... Not today.

I have no idea about your social security question.

That's because capitalism is being intentionally and methodically destroyed...as socialism and capitalism cannot co-exist.
Roxy...you and your like-minded friends are the very useful idiots socialists use to advance their march to socialism....the
precursor to Communism. Your President is the climax of decades of eroding this nation's culture, economy, military and its
morality....the very foundations that made the USA the greatest country on earth....and no President has so accelerated that
process in such a short time as Barack Obama...he has been groomed by Marxists all of his life in preparation for it....and it's
also why the world's tyrants and dictators are such big fans of his.

Your silly claims of taking from Grandma, etc. are in fact the fear tactics you deny and are meant to make more and more
people dependent on government until there are enough dumbed down to your way of thinking and the next thing you know,
socialism becomes full circle in the form of full blown Communism...a mindset that has killed many, many more innocent human
beings alone than all wars combined throughout history. You better hope and pray that conservatives who understand what's
happening to this country will be able to reverse this dangerous trend....because if they don't, you will be singing a very different
tune in the oppresssion of tyranny...if the big government you love lets you live through it.

Gadfly,
The Right Wing Drumbeat... "Obama is a Socialist" really works on you didn't it?  You actually believe it.

It's easy to believe something when it's been proven.

If Obama and his czars had their way the government would control every aspect of our lives. Just 6 Senate seats in 2012 and Obama will control nothing so it won't matter if he gets re-elected or not.

Every aspect... like our personal decisions about who we are allowed to marry, or if we are forced to continue a pregnancy, or if we can build a mosque in our neighborhoods??? Those aspects of our lives???

That's true... or just a handful of House Seats and the Republicans will control nothing... It goes both ways.

Why are you ashamed of the reality?  He is a socialist.  The left wing of the Democrat Party is socialist.  After 2 years of his policy and his rhetoric - he couldn't have made his fundamental belief of the role of government more clear.  You know "spread the wealth".

sorry homey, we live in a representative democracy, not a pure democracy.

The dems already think people are too stupid to make decisions and provide for themselves.
Using the least common denominator theory is a recipe for failure.

Why do we need a law against smoking in day care centers ? That should be a no brainer

If some people want the gov't to tell them when to take a sh*t, they can have at it..just count me out.
They need to read a little history to find out why this Country was formed in the first place.

I have no problem with laws that protect the general public from harmful behavior, but when you have schools telling me that my son bringing in a Hunting magazine to read during his lunch is "not acceptable", then I have a BIG problem with that.

I guess Catholic school was different- during my sophmore year HS- I got 5 whacks  with a thick belt for looking at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue BEFORE CLASS from the Prefect of Discipline-  Father Felix ( who I am sure now was a Republican who thought inflicting fear and guilt was his job ) - My dad didn't seem to have a problem with that.

Schools should get back to teaching what kids need to succeed in the real world...not this politically correct, touch feely, lets not make anyone feel uncomfortable garbage.

Based on our kids scores against the rest of the World, our schools are failing....big time.
