I guess he just wants to be able to have a choice on things far less important than a human life.
"Arguing with liberals is like playing chess with a pigeon; no matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock out the pieces, crap on the board, and strut around like it is victorious." - Author Unknown
Rand Paul wants choice for his plumbing, but government regulation for womens' "plumbing".
I looooove the analogy...Liberals comparing the birth canal to a sewer pipe, and in their view, the baby and the piece of $hit that passes through both are of equal value. Classic liberal moral relativity.
Rand nailed it, they support the right to end a life but those who are alive they wish to regulate every aspect of our lives, power grab 101.
"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."
all the 'men' want government regulation when it comes to 'plumbing' of the Heffner brand.......
I Don't know that. Women I know are far more pro-life than me, including my wife. And I thinbk abortion is a pretty foul thing. Yeah the rich have always had abortions, that is true. But the middle class has in the pass held the moral compass for every society since Rome. Not anymore.
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

This post is so wrong in so many ways!
I support women and their right to chose. I don't condemn them to unwanted pregnancy or bearing the child of a rapist as many Conservatives do.
Cicero's analogy of a women s va gina to sewer pipe says a lot about Cicero's state of mind.
In my entire life I've never thought of a woman's va gina as having anything to do with sewers! But Cicero is entitled to his own view of that part of a woman.
The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness. John Kenneth Galbraith

Henry... Isn't it the Conservatives that wish to, as you put it, " regulate every aspect of our lives". Taking away a woman's right to chose is regulating a very important aspect of her life.

Wow, you're really making stretches today. You must be realizing the stark reality that the national debate and support for left wing ideology is diminishing every day. I guess you conveniently missed the first post by wpj using the analogy of Rand Paul regulating a "woman's plumbing" as an argument against Rand Paul's consumer choice argument and Paul complaining about his low flow toilet.
Man Box - I guess in times of desperation you will throw sh!t against the wall to see if it sticks.
Rand Paul's CHOICE only pertains to IMPORTANT issues, (like his toilet) as he pointed out. Apparently Paul considers Toilet choice a invasion of his privacy, yet he wants to limit women's choice about abortion.
It wasn't until Cicero's post that I read about female body parts resembling a sewer... but I guess he calls em like he sees em!

By killing another human life, no that is no right it's murder. Bad mistakes have consequences and 2 wrongs don't make a right. Personal responsibility comes to play here and it's up to the parents to do what is necessary to find a solution be it work harder or get another job to raise that kid. Killing it shows no responsibility and is frankly the easy way out of a problem personal responsibility could have prevented in the first place.

So Henry, if you are so pro-personal responsibility... what do you have to say about funding birth control for the poor? If a man or woman has the choice between birth control or groceries... groceries will usually win. If it proved to lower the number of unplanned pregnancies and abortions, would you support tax dollars for low income birth control? ( A few dollars for birth control or family planning help might save a large number of abortions.)
