That's correct BT...they make all decisions...they in fact rewrote their bylaws to foster this dictatorship....

As far as I can tell, the other Parties do not operate that way...they have full Committee meetings...their elected Committee Members
actually vote on endorsements, and other Party business...

The purpose of a full Committee is for the elected Committee Members to represent and vote on behalf of their constituents just
like any other elected representative...in this case the "constituency" is the members of the Party that reside in the election
district the Committee Member represents. The Schenectady County Conservative Committee is the only Party Committee I know
of that does not conduct business the same way...anywhere, at any level...that is, Town/City, County or State Committees...and that
includes all other CP Committees at any level...the local CP Committee is absolutely unique in this respect.

Gadfly is correct.  Ron is either unaware of the facts or is being dishonest.  I have it on excellent authority that

It is irrelevant how the person responded.  The point that I am making is that the Democratic party leaders
did, indeed, reach out to individuals, who did not submit letters of interest,  and asked them to run.  Ron's
statement is false.

I'll give him the benefit of a doubt and assume that he was unaware.  After all, why would one intentionally lie
about something so insignificant?

Boy the Hamilton union and the kratz really stuck a knife in Nicole Delvelvas back. I wonder why she switched parties before to join that crew? If I were Matt Martini I wouldn't stand next to any windows in a tall building with associates like that.

Some potential candidates may have been approached by individual members of the committee -- acting on their own --  but NO PERSON was approached on behalf of the committee as a whole.
