Personal Care--looking for a private aide.  Who's the gym teacher?  Nobody knew anything there when I called--somebody named Sidney answered. Several things are being de-funded shortly.   Did call Boomer now she sent the following (btw-she knew what PC meant)  She also hooked me up with a PERSON not a website or a telephone line that nobody answers.

"Members of the Assembly are confirming that the Assembly’s one house budget to be passed this week will include a restoration of budget cuts made to the EPIC program which would have effectively phased out the program by eliminating all state support except in the Medicare “donut hole.” There is also strong support in the State Senate to reject the cuts though it has not been confirmed yet.

Funds are also being restored in the Assembly budget for the Title XX program which the Governor sought to “backfill” for state child welfare expenses. New York City uses Title XX funds to support its senior centers and has announced that over 100 centers would have to close if it lost the Title XX funds. A large rally of seniors and advocates against the cuts was being held in the city on Friday.

The Assembly is also restoring nearly a dozen programs eliminated in the budget of the State Office for the Aging and will fund them at 75% of last year's allocation.  The Governor had proposed the eliminations and then  planned to use about half of the eliminated funds for a competitive grant program.  Legislators feel that will take too long to issue a request for proposals, to evaluate them and then execute contracts with those agencies selected for funding.

Both houses of the Legislature will be passing their own budgets this week and then the serious negotiations will begin between themselves and Governor Andrew Cuomo. The Assembly’s budget will include the extension of a tax surcharge on millionaires but the Senate will not. The Assembly budget increases the threshold of income subject to the tax to one million dollars. The so called “millionaires” higher tax rate actually begins at $200,000 for a single household and without state action, it will expire on December 31."

So Deb how many personalities do you really have and
which bit(h called the center?  We all know you reapplied
for the project manager position and it looks like Mike
Griesemers daughter will be getting the job.  Aww
poor Deb and friends (in her head).  Looks like you
lose again.  Better not give up your day job.

Hey Mary,
Clearly you have NO idea what Deb does for a living.   Unfortuantely you still don't do your homework.  No wonder your former clients still COMPLAIN about you.

Looks like you're still hiding in a dress eh Tom?  And still missing the apparatus that you need to wear your man pants? Attacking Deb while she laughs her a** off about you.   And I wouldn't screw with Yossi--he might clean your clock the same way JM did.   If only you knew.....

Hard to know who the bigger a$$holes are on this board.  If Mary knew anything, and we all know Bt doesn't, you would know DR isn't even a resident anymore.  An if she is not gone yet, she will be soon.  So she would NOT have applied for that job.  And why  would she give up the position she has now.  You people are really SMALL town thinkers.  An remember what Gadfly said in an earlier post, she NEVER sought out that job, they came looking for her.  ROTFLMAO just one more time.  You guys need to get a grip.

Well obviously BT you and Mary Mary care because YOU two brought it up. There certainly was a residency requirement in 2003.  Nobody at the coffee shop would KNOW what DR was doing or care for that matter.  If I were you two, I would concentrate on getting a slate together otherwise the "democraps" as GB eloquently puts it, will still be in office and you two will still be whining.

I called the senior center to ask about services for my mother.  They referred ME to Catholic Charities.  Is that the kind of senior center you are running?  Someone answers the phone who KNOWS NOTHING about EPIC or PC services?  Come on.

So let me get this straight....you have the where-with-all to call the senior center, don't like the answer you
got to call Catholic Charities, hang up, make a call to someone who is a has-been that worked at the
senior center years ago, who in turn gives you information, found on the internet, and then you bi+ch
and moan about it on this blog that someone doesn't know anything about EPIC or PC services?

In all of that wasted time, you could have constructively used the internet to find your answers. I think I feel
very sorry for your mother, as she must have spent a lot of time turning you into an unorganized, psychotic idiot!

Mary--what exactly is your problem--were you toilet trained to early?  Or the fact that you now need to hide behind a skirt?

Most senior directors would have the latest on the EPIC changes.  And PC??? What a moron--most senior directors would have a list of PRIVATE aides with good reputations that would be willing to take on some more hours.  So take the your internet answer and shove it.  As Boomer would say  "Is Buchanan still the head of the party?"

I am not hiding behind anything or any Sybil personalities, such as yourself.  Was the person you spoke with
at the Senior Center the "actual" director?  You know very well that the Senior Center is between
directors and the current secretary has been there a total of two months.  The Town of Rotterdam does not
recommend any services for any insurances, government agencies, private or public aides, due to the liability
involved. So Deb, Boomer, Yossi, Alleykat, or whichever personality you are at the moment, I would say you have been
called out on this subject.   But to quote senders "WHO CARES"!

MM--not sure just how psychotic you are--but Call me whichever personality you think I am.  Maybe you just are paranoid or suffer with a guilty conscience.  But one more time since you seem to be slow of wit--not Alleykat or Yossi--though I will admit I love the way Yossi kicks your a$$.  But you would not be in any position to talk about somebody else on a bar stool--cuz you do that job quite well yourself--not to mention.........  So I wouldn't be going down that road. Senders is right "WHO CARES?"  Just you because you can't stop talking about it.

And as always..Is Buchanan still the head of the party?
