I'm having a hard time finding out what Buffardi's views are on local issues. I cannot find a website which spells out his opinions, does anyone know of one? Buffardi is a nice guy, but I have no idea of what his opinion's are on the grand union building, REMS, town parks, or anything else in Rotterdam. McGarry has made his opinion's pretty clear, I hope Buffardi does the same so the voters can make an educated decision. DOV perhaps you can point me in a direction to find this information out.

This is the only thing that I could find after searching for Harry Buffardi on the internet.  This is from the Rotterdam Democrats website.  I'm sure that more will be forthcoming with him being the nominated candidate.

He is "for" no-nonsense. Which is a really firm position and tells me everything, it is not a platitude. OK.

They should be updating the Rotterdam Democrats website soon -- with campaign related materials.

Buffardi is well-known to be a good leader and a reasonable person.  His two opponents arent even in his league.  After this town got duped by McGarry and DelGallo two years ago....I highly doubt that it will happen again.  The town needs proven leadership...not these other two goofs.   The real reason FDG ran was to lower his own taxes.  Mission Accomplished!  And the big anti-corruption conservative McGarry hasnt said a peep about it!

I hear Harry's daughter works for the DA's office.  That's two family members working in county government. Harry needs to run to help stop the Democrat hemorrhaging.  If Republicans/Alliance/NNTP candidates win and they actually pare down all levels of government, his family could end up in the unemployment line.  That's quite a motivator.

He has attended some Town Board meetings .. and he will share his ideas with the residents at their door steps during the campaign  and in other venues  ...   a Town Board meeting is NOT the proper venue to campaign for elective office.
