WTH has he done?

His greatest accomplishment, and why so many New Yorkers love Cuomo...
HE IS NOT CARL PALADINO! (Thank God for that)

If Andrew turns out to be half the man his dad was, NY state will be successful.

NY State's largest tax cut (up to that time) was the "NY NY" tax cut under Mario Cuomo.

I agree Boxey.  People are crazy about Cuomo.  His father was a great man.

Mario and Andrew are both great men ---- but Matilda and Sandra are even greater women.

Wait until the alledged cuts take place.   Gov't workers/teachers cut=loses union support.   No cuts=loses taxpayers support.   UNLESS, move the "layoffs" to less visible positions.

They love Cuomo because he is "sounding" like a fiscal conservative.
They are already taxed to death and are disgusted at the waste and largess of the (mostly) Dems in power

If the voters of NY wanted a "fiscal conservative", they would have voted for Carl (I love horses) Paladino.
Carl lost in a landslide!

Thats BS.. Paladino was never a fiscal conservative, just as Georgre W Bush was never a fiscal conservative, but they both campaigned as one.
What I am saying is that Cuomo is talking like a fiscal conservative and if he balances the budget and makes NYS an attractive place to live and do business, then I'm all for it.

You see, unlike you Boxy, I don't check with the DNC (or any party) before I take a dump. I want results.
If Cuomo gives me the results I'm looking for, he has my support.

There used to be such a thing as a fiscally conservative Democrat but I think they went extinct.
