The fact is that the Supervisor and the Deputy Supervisor think that they can use their positions to carry out personal vendettas.   They don't have have the best interests of the town at heart.   They have chosen to govern like two school yard bullies.

Put a fork in them -- they are done.

yup and we are done with that.....

Has anybody picked up on the pattern?  The last administration was considered as a bunch of "bullies" because they made decisions that excluded certain people's crony group of friends and family, now they are calling their own that they supported "bullies" because they aren't letting their friends and families feed at the trough.  Who is the group of cronies you ask??? That would be any friend or family member of a copservatives.

That's a tough question!  Actually the Resolution never indicated partime/fulltime, w/benefits, w/o benefits, no information at all.  So the Resolution was pie in the sky, it could have been for anything . . .

Your comments are so far off the mark as to be laughable and absurd.

Seems to me if Judy Longo was working for the director at the Center, she should have the right to let her go if she was being underminded.  Can't imagine Diane would have been unreasonable as a boss.  She probably told Judy why she was being dismissed but FDG did not inform DM.  Sorry labor law says otherwise.

Yeah-yeah-yeah,,whatever, John M gets canned, Eunice gets called on her incompetence, and Ritano gets replaced, Marco gets terminated, police commission formed to keep the cops honest, along with many other moves that were made, and the same group of morons kick and scream, calling everybody that doesn't give them their way "bullies".

Our elected officials are accountable to the residents, not just those leeches trying to get their hands into the Rotterdam taxpayer’s wallets.

You're right about that Yossi...and DM knows this is a violation of NYS Labor Law. People can say what they want about DM, but in all
fairness to her, she simply runs a tight ship...she expects employees to do their jobs without complications...and if they can't or
won't, she is not going to tolerate that. Remember...DM spent her entire career in the private sector where employees are held
accountable....and, IMO, a concept she carried with her to the Town Board and eventually to the Senior Center...and she has never
considered herself exempt from the same scrutiny...that's why no reason was given for her sudden, unexplained termination...because
there is no valid reason for it and vengeance does not qualify as a valid reason.

This is all very curious to me.  AS you kow, Ritano was the only non-political appointment in the senior center.  She had the background and the experience for the job until the Reps. turned it into a political arena.  It has been that way ever since.  Who continues to get screwed--the seniors.  Riitano had a little mischief maker but instead of running to Paolino to fire her, Riitano got somebody to offer her a different job with more money. LOL  And what is to become of Pina?  People been promising her the moon for years.
