Given time, nourishment, protection the most insignificant things can become wonders of the world

these simple "seeds" can grow into

Life begins at conception right? -  every embryo (zygote, fetus) has the potential to grow into something wonderful that no one can predict

how many of these that were destroyed

potentially the next one of these

Chris
Where do we disagree.

Life's potential is all around us.  Trees, wildlife, even bacteria, all have unique potential.

There are women who owe an early teenage abortion to their success as an adult.  They've raised families and become very successful, BECAUSE of that choice.  Their children exist BECAUSE of that early teenage decision to terminate a pregnancy.
Who's to say that their choice wasn't God's plan all along.

Some data about Abortion in the USA.
From Web MD.

In the United States, about 6 million women become pregnant per year.

Each year, nearly 1.2 million American women have an abortion to end a pregnancy.

The most common reasons women consider abortion are:

    * Birth control (contraceptive) failure. Over half of all women who have an abortion used a contraceptive method during the month they became pregnant.

    * Inability to support or care for a child.

    * To end an unwanted pregnancy.

    * To prevent the birth of a child with birth defects or severe medical problems. Such defects are often unknown until routine second-trimester tests are done.

    * Pregnancy resulting from rape or incest.

    * Physical or mental conditions that endanger the woman's health if the pregnancy is continued.

In the United States, 9 out of 10 abortions are performed in the first 12 weeks (first trimester) of pregnancy. Most of these are done within the first 9 weeks of pregnancy.

Very few abortions are done after 16 weeks of pregnancy

That is like the movie natural born killers.  Murderers are born murderers, it is all part of God's plan.  Fortunately we have laws and the Constitution to protect us from the twisted enough to kill.  Unfortunately the unborn don't have the same protection.

Gods plan IS that most fertilized human eggs never produce a child.  More than 50% spontaneously abort at some point (usually early) of pregnancy.

So is it God's plan that the other 50% live?  Or does God take care of 50% of the abortions by natural selection, and planned parenthood takes care of the rest by social selection?

I don't know the answer to that Cicero... maybe you should ask God yourself and let me know what she/he thinks!

Planned Parenthood should really be charged with false advertising -- they should be forced to rename themselves to  Planned Infanticide.

fine....as long as we all know what we are referring to......

God(whom ever heard Him speak) will take care of 'it' when the woman/man stands before Him(according to His word)....hence
the man's OR the woman's intention IS NEVER KNOWN BY YOU, ME, CHURCH OR GOVERNMENT.......

according to MAN'S LAW....you have no right until you breathe.....if you are not breathing you cant vote, pay taxes, work etc etc....

I would also venture that I am pretty sure that 'massage parlors', strip clubs, juice bars and escort services are subsidized or with some loopholes
in their income taxes.......

abortion vs gambling????? hhhhhmmmmm
starving vs hungry????hhhhhmmmmm

So if a drunk driver crashes into a car that is driving a woman that is in labor to the hospital and kills the "fetus" but the mother lives, the drunk driver isn't charged with involuntary manslaughter because the fetus didn't breath oxygen outside the womb?  I'm not a scientist, but I'm pretty sure a fetus receives oxygen through the umbilical chord.  Oxygen has to be inhaled through the nose or mouth to be considered a human being?

Again, going back to those on a respirator / ventilator that are unable to breath for themselves .. they have no rights either?

they chose the ventilator.....DNR/DNI or not......which ever their choice was.....a fetus has not the ability to choose, never has and
never will.....the ADULT RESPONSIBLE TO SHOULDER THE CHOICE HAS THAT.....

as for the mother in the car accident it happens.......I think the burden should be placed on the mother/father  or mother/mother or
father/father to prove their hurt from loosing the baby.....like loosing a limb or the ability to have sex.....folks actually do
sue for pain and suffering  because they are unable to have sex......anyhow driving is a priviledge and a risk....for EVERYONE....
