Only CNN to Broadcast Bachmann Response; Newsmax Plans to Carry Live Feed Tuesday, 25 Jan 2011 03:20 PM Article Font Size By Dan Weil
The mainstream media is shunning the tea party once more. Only one television network – CNN – plans to broadcast Rep. Michele Bachmann’s response to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address Tuesday evening, The Hill reports. However, Newsmax.com plans to provide a live feed of the Minnesota Republican's comments at about 10 p.m. Eastern time.
Bachmann will deliver a speech to the Tea Party Express, which will provide a live stream of the remarks on its website. NBC, CBS, ABC, and the Fox broadcast network won't televise the talk, their spokesmen say. And the same is true for Fox News and MSNBC on cable.
The Republicans’ official response is coming from Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, chairman of the House Budget Committee.
Bachmann, who is chairwoman of the House Tea Party Caucus, created a stir last week when she revealed that she would deliver her own, separate response to Obama in coordination with one of the largest tea party groups.
I've seen Train Wrecks covered on CNN also... this should be similar.

So I guess you're implying that CNN is covering Bachmann to lower their rating even lower than they already are now, huh?
Look, I'm not a major Bachmann fan, but I even question this maneuver.
