Look, I don't agree with probably 'anything' dvr says.....but is dvr exclusive to who is on that rotterdam commission? I don't know the reason why LD was not voted in on this parks and recreation thing nor do I really care. But I would have to believe that dvr is not the only deciding factor.

LD needs to get over herself and move on. IMHO

Yossi - I don't post much because really there's nothing to post about here anymore. Just a bunch of mindless bickering.

Now having seen the list, I wonder why LD was ousted.  That list is heavily Democratic.  Was she a follower of Bill Cook?  Why be on the outside?

Then you must not have been listening to(sic) well.

What EVERYONE has heard is that not on;y have you dissed someone who is and was the hardest campaign worker for your team but you conspired with Savage to wipe out Bill Cooke from the committee and replace him with a pawn of the copservatives and Savge- TJ Hooker. Cooke and Dufek did more together than any of the rest of you combines x10 for your victory. Nice way to repay loyalty! LOL!

I have to agree about the loyalty.   Schenectady Democrats have a problem with the issue of loyalty.  I have seen that myself.  In fact  think in some ways the Reps have got that down well--not that they don't turn on you because they do but initially they reward hardworking folks.  Where the Dems have it a bit better is that they don't "dis" Rep citizens when they appear on the doorstep.  Reps can't get you out of their face fast enough.  (That does not mean ALL do it)

Many DEMS are fighting at the bottom end of the trough. They see others livin large and want to get in on the action. They can't even get tickets to a Presidential visit that go to PG, Death Ray and Morris. No crumbs come there way and no one passes the salt. Many things will be changing in November. This is all much ado about nothing. Her biggest sin is airing the dirty laundry.

What are her planning or parks credentials? She has a granddaughter? Just being a loyal party hack or in the Friends and Family Club does entitle you to a commission seat.

Savage and the copservatives rule the party now. Real dems are furious.

I have to agree in part here. I am a registered blank and do not consider myself liberal minded. However, there are many 'old time' dems that have put their time and effort into their party for years and years. But there are only the 'chosen few' that seem to get recognized while the loyalists are by passed.

The 'old time dems' are what I remember and respected. The 'new dems' are now a different breed. The 'old time dem loyalists' are pushed aside along with it's 'original' dem grass roots ideology. IMHO

The old line liberal DEMS have been pushed aside by Landslide Savage's crony capitalist crowd. The old line DEMS are waking up to the fact that the goodies have passed them all by. They were the ones outside GE without tickets. While the crony capitalists led by Death Ray and Mercury Morris {the coffee/catering maven} were hogging the front row seats. Nothing went to the DEM rank and file/workers.

The Presidential visit has brought about unintended consequences. It clearly proved who was in and who was out in the snow. And everyone saw it.

Tony J arranged for the removal of BC because he supported Bob Godlewski and the Party hates him.

No one "arranged" to remove Mr. Cooke.   I was there at the meeting when he made the decision to - on his own - to resign.

I can't speak for anyone else .... speaking for myself .. I do not hate Mr. Cooke.   But I would say that the party is better organized and running more smoothly since Mr. Jasenski was elected chairman.   The biggest change is that more committee members are actually being allowed to be engaged in the operations of the town committee.

I never dissed Mrs. Dufek.  She did not show up at the meeting when we were considering the recommendations for appointment.   She never called or tried to contact me after that meeting - in fact she seemed to go out of her way to NOT speak to me.

Mr. Cooke and Mrs. Dufek did not do as much as you think they did to help in the 2009 campaign.  I can assure you that they certainly did NOT do any more than the average committee person and they certainly didmuch less than a handful of committee persons who do most of the "heavy lifting" during the campaigns.

Oh -- and Mrs. Savage was not present at the meeting when Mr. Cooke decided ON HIS OWN to resign.  AndI have NEVER discussed his chairmanship or any matters of the 2009 campaign with Mrs Savage.   So your conspiracy theory is way off base.
