Just wondering DVR-if you were up for Town chair, how is it that TJ unseated BC?  Where were you in that mess?  Not interested in Parks and Rec but would like to know exazctly who sits on this committee.  Why not list them?

Mr. Cooke resigned as town chair.  He was not unseated.

The list of persons on the Parks and Recreation Commission is available by calling town hall or attending one of our meetings.  Our meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at  6:00 PM at the Rotterdam Senior Center.   The public is always welcome.  I am not going to post their names here because I don't want to drag them into this issue.

The Parks and Recreation Commission was established by a resolution of the Town Board in the spring of 2009.   There is absolutely nothing secret about it.    The resolution establishing it is available at the Town Hall .. sois the resolution which was passed on January 1, 2011, that defined the organization and term of commission members and the resolution (also passed on January 1, 2011) that appointed the current 9 members of the commission.

Thus the commission has the same origin and legitimacy as every other commission and board of the town.

Why not list the names?  I would like to know who is on the committee.  You're the head in the name of transparency and full disclosure list them.

Except you wish the names of the members to remain a secret even though they have an important role in how the taxpayer money will be spent now and in the future...Interesting take on transparency.

I honestly don't know what the difference is on who is on the rotterdam park & recreation committee. If rotterdamians were 'really' interested or concerned...they would already know. Betcha folks know who chairs the rotterdam IDA.

I would suggest that all rotteramians that are interested.....call LD and ask her. She's the one who started all this bullcrap!

It is a Commission not a committee.   The commission members names are listed on the resolution adopted on January 1, 2011.   You could even call me and ask me.   But I am not putting the names of private citizens on this forum.

If it's allegedly not secret, then it should be listed on the town website.  

Interesting, this resolution is not posted for the taxpayers to read.  It's not on the town website.  

In fact, I don't see any minutes of town board meetings, only agendas (I only clicked randomly)

And no listings at all of doughboy's committee, oops, commission.  Secret agenda's?  Secret meetings?   Secret minutes?

Tony J arranged for the removal of BC because he supported Bob Godlewski and the Party hates him.

Looks to me like they're all on the same side...the same side LD always supports...most are Kratz and at least one is a known
member of the ACORN/Communist Party, aka "Working Families"...the ultra left wing of the Party...so they're all the same.
