Wagon Train was actually out in the Junction cooking for the residents / workers today.  And they did it free of charge.  Thanks to those at the Wagon Train for coming out today.  It was appreciated.  Also, to Mr DelGallo for coming out and doing your best to help out.  One day won't fix everything, but it will be a beginning.

so just what was he doing with that backhoe??? pushing boats into the river??? - -its a little to wet to be digging a ditch

how about some logistical support for those in the junction  - this is not the job of the volunteers, fire fighters, police, or our building inspecters - they all have their tasks

typical of rotterdam admin -to think only about the here and now

we are doing cleanup  - dont bother us

some work teams/homeowners are asking the questions  -whats next  - now they have to wait while the operations team plays catch up

logistical support should have been brought in last wednesday to begin compiling information for homeowners so they only have to ask one question

what do i do next?? - this is not the job of the situation commander - they are dealing with water, tornados, sewage, injuries, garbage

getting good information to the homeowners is paramont, this information needs to be brought to the homeowners as they are busy saving their homes

I don't know exactly what he was doing, but it was a lot more than many other people who represent us were doing.

True.  When November comes, I'll remember who, over the past week, I saw walking around in suits, who I saw working, and who I didn't see, as they ran and hid somewhere while other people did the work.

It may have been a charitable and valiant effort on the part of the current admin who rolled up their sleeves to help...but the residents cannot forget the past year and a half when only friends and family were recipients of the the good deeds!
