I have been told by a credible source that Wayne Calder has informed FDG that he intends to run for Supervisor this year.

FDG should just plead "No Contest" now and save the expense/misery/humiliation.

A week on the TB and he is ready for Super??  Something doesn't add up here Gadfly. I thought FDG and Calder were tight. Didn't FDG throw him a fundraiser?  Didn't FDG say he looked forward to working with Calder?  This is an early April Fools joke.

He certainly has a solid resume and if he chooses to run I would certainly give him very strong
consideration.   Still waiting to hear who else may be interested in the Democratic endorsement.

Let the daggers be drawn early. If they get shoved in someone's back it's "only because of the way they was facin' at the time" says DV and the rest of the dems! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA. More drama to unfold...

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Hedging your bets already DV?  Getting yourself ready to make the smooth transition off of FDG's di(k to Calder's.  You are a sorry excuse for a man DV.

Calder is not such a bad consideration.  He may not have experience but ST had lots of board experience and was a dismal failure.  Calder would certainly be better than Nikki.  At least you don't hve to keep repeating things for him to understand the way you do for her.  But I think it is a little premature to even make this suggestion.  YYou people are such rumor mongers.

Not hedging any bets -- the Democratic committee will interview all interested candidates -- as an individual
member of the committee I have no commitments to any one candidate as of yet --- and the final
decision lays with the full town committee.

Oh -- and your nasty comment is completely off base.

Not surprised by this at all. FDG wasted his time switching to DEM. He has little support and should immediately cite "family issues" and ride off from Town Hall.

to tell ya the truth......people heard this rumor last year when Calder was running for rotterdam's town board. The goal was to get a 'cop', even though retired, on the town board. And it was also rumored that this was the plan all along and that  fdg knew about. fdg was rumored to say he was only going to be a 1 term rotterdam super. RUMOR.....perhaps? So this just may be an old rotterdam rumor for most.

Who do YOU support?  You had a LOVE AFFAIR with FDG for a year! Praising all of his successes since he's been in office, now you're touting Calder for Supervisor?  You are an empty vessel.  You wait to be told who to support.  You do not have a mind of your own or an original thought.  It has become more than apparent.

I don't wait to be told who to support or what to support.    I will make up my own mind about who I will
support.   At this point  -- no one has formally asked me personally or come before the committee to ask for support.

I am not "touting"  ANYONE for supervisor.   In fact, I may just throw my hat in the ring and run for supervisor.
