With all the problems we got going on in the world, this makes news?? give me a break!
Although I agree if it was done to Islam, you would see people calling for Fatah, the catholics against this need to take a chill pill.

Just think of all the legendary tv shows that would have NEVER seen the light of day in todays society and you'll see how PC, and tightassed this country has become.

Ah. So it's ok if it's against Catholics, but off limit for Islamists because it might call for a holy war. Gotcha.

The ad is offensive and the woman on the far left of the screen is a blithering idiot.

Her statement that "purgatory was invented to fill the pews" shows that she knows NOTHING
about Catholicism.

Catholics should boycott Pepsi and all of its subsidiaries.

Its called humor...anything who thinks this is a slam on anyone's religion should get a reality check.
The rest of the world is laughing at how uptight and PC we have become as a society.

I believe that Catholics should boycott Pepsi and all of its subsidiaries.   These constant efforts to
defame the Catholic Church must be struck down swiftly and vigorously.

Boycott ALL of the following brand names:
Pepsi        Frito-Lay     Gatorade      Quaker Oats      Tropicana     Wimm Bill Dann

Mountain Dew     Lay's potato chips     7UP        Doritos     Lipton teas (PepsiCo/Unilever partnership)

There is a line between humor and trash ... and that ad crossed the line.

Not from what I read from the responses.
Boycott this, boycott that... who cares?
If you are truly at peace with your beliefs, this stuff shouldn't matter.
Why should it matter when you have eternal life waiting?
why? because religious hierarchy is just another big business, violating its own beliefs in the name of power and money.

You are correct. The christians should just follow the religious loyalties that the muslims do.
Threaten the life of the CEO who produces doritos.....call for his/her resignation.
Get it out there to boycott all Dorito products.
Boycott all businesses that cell doritos.
In fact, threaten the life of the Youtube CEO's for allowing it out on the net.
The muslims know how to do it!
It's those crazy christians again!

You're mentioning a specific religion, where I am more general in mentioning the hypocrisy of religious hierarchies.

Again, if you are at peace with your beliefs, it shouldn't matter what PepsiCo says or does...whether your intended response is personal injury or corporate injury.

DV can't help his totalitarian tendencies.  HE and his cohorts on the left will decide where the line is between humor and trash.

What is acceptable and unacceptable to DV.
- Commercial mocking an organized religion - UNACCEPTABLE - BOYCOTT
- Town Clerk abandoning position and continues to collect $50K from the taxpayer - ACCEPTABLE - HONOR!!

Totalitarianism is alive and well, Americans still haven't fully waken up and realized they reside in the Democrat Party.
