Wishing everyone a Happy New Year 2011.
Don't forget -- when you raise your toast at midnight and sing AULD LANG SYNE ----- think of about all the great things that Scotland has done for the world ...... gave us Capitalism .. gave us great scotch .... gave us pretty women ..... gave us Lassie ..... and the song Auld Lang Syne.
When the clock strikes midnight, I'll be wearing my best formal kilt and thinking of all ye "wee folk". |

Yep!
May your kool-aid always be half empty, your nog always be full - let's all be safe, and don't act like a mule! Ok, I know it doesn't rhyme, but Happy New Year to everyone. Even Ron. |

No, Scotland didn't give us Capitalism. Capitalism is as old as Man. It is a natural state for Man to transact business openly and freely. Scotland did not give us Capitalism anymore than the US Government gave us our rights. |

Happy New Year.......
TRADE WILL ALWAYS HAPPEN.......and the fight over who gets to control it and charge 'protection fees' will always be the station of the mofia/government |

Scotland gave us Adam Smith ... who is recognized as the "Father of Capitalism" for his writings in the 1700's. |
