I believe you are wrong.  Folks commented on the fact he was there...could be a look alike?

Or could be a Yossi/alleykat co-conspiracy to try to discredit the next Town of Rotterdam Supervisor!

Who cares if he was there?  I went myself out of curiosity, it doesn't mean I was sleeping there wondering what the he'll I was protesting against.  When you don't trust the media's reporting, you go see for yourself.

Me and my buddy went just to check it out.

All I can say is that it is a pig sty.

Tell McGarry and others as well that today there will be an interfaith Prayer Service at Academy Park..Perhpas you slugs might like to think of the occupation in in terms of its moral dimesnions.  Oh I forgot non-thinking Reps don't have those scruples.  I will not be there since it is at 4:00 and I leave to return to the City at noon before the Sabbath BUT some locals here have time to do both.  McGarry's coinage (and he has no shot at winning) would go up immensely if he attended.

Looks like goofy is as much a loser today as he was 2 years ago... Didn't someone sue the party for endorsing him saying the majority didn't support him? Looks Luke that Person should've been listened to because the public apparently doesn't support him either

The voters of Rotterdam will NOT elect a candidate who gets his political advice/knowledge from Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.

George Amedore & Christian Klueg for NYS Senate 2016
Pete Vroman for State Assembly 2016

You are correct. The voters in rotterdam elected a candidate who gets his political advice/knowledge from a party boss/retired x-police chief/citing county legislature and the chief of police.
Bufarti will do one of two things.....either be a puppet for the puppet masters OR run his own show like fdg did and not allow himself to be strong armed.

He didn't want to run for this position in the first place. He was poked and prodded to do so. It will be interesting come 2012 in rotterdam.

Yeah...Instead we have a candidate that gets his political advice from the police union and public employoees unions.  That's great for the Rotterdam homeowner that works in the private sector.  Open your wallets, you will be getting fleeced.  Put your house on the market now, save as much of the value as you can before the taxes and fees begin.

The voters elected a Supervisor who has amassed his political knowledge and leadership skills from a LIFETIME of service from his days as a Marine through his exemplary career in the Sheriff's Department to his present life as a teacher and businessman.     Mr. Buffardi has the ability to build a team and work with a team ---- which is something that Mr. Del Gallo refused to do.  He has a calmness and a professionalism that will serve him well as Town Supervisor.

Mr. DelGallo was NEVER strong armed by anyone -- he was misled by Bob Godlewski, who tried to play Supervisor and micromanage town affairs - Bob NEVER had Mr. DelGallo's interests at heart -- Bob played him and used him, pushed him out on the limb and tried to saw the limb out from under him.

Mr DelGallo then tried to blame his problems and failures on everyone else -- but the fact is that many of us tried to help Mr. DelGallo but we were ignored and/or shut out.   He made his bed .. and now he has to lay in it.

Avon Cicero and Bumble--what do you have to say for yourselves now?  I told you the Dems would win and specifically Buffardi.  Isaid it wouldn't matter about the tax issue and it didn't.  Why don't you guys get your heads out of your a$$ and either get on board or fire Buchanan as your leader.  He is an impotent leader in the field of politics.  Can't field a candidate nor could your new girl.  Why is that?  Because you have nobody to run.  Retreads only.  The Tomasselli kid has a lot to learn and McGoofy needs to shape up. In fact he should give up.  He's good father, husband and teacher.  Those are all admirable roles.  He already stands taller than Pukecannon.  Maybe his talent would be cultivating political talent.  At the rate he's going he could be Bill Cook.

Mr. Del Gallo has maintained his integrity and honesty throughout his leadership role.

It was not only RG but all the others who defied and tried to make him look bad....and they suceeded with the
help of DM , JS.....and above all ND, WC, MM....politics play in numbers rather than one on one.

So don't put the blame on one person....they all had a hand in it....before 2010, Mr. Del Gallo was a hero.
money and all......and when Mr. Del Gallo got a taste of why he was there, he fought back and was chastized
and disrespected .....he had more guts then all the rest of those turncoats.

If everyone attended the TB meetings they would have seen what a circus it was and all these theatrics that
played out every meeting.  The average Joe doesn't know anything about politics...so they believe what they
are told.

This election was no better than the past one....and it will end up with the same goings on...maybe just maybe
HB will have the guts to do the right thing for the citizens of Rotterdam.....and listen to the truth of the
matter than individual agendas....

Mr. Del Gallo, I wish you well....to me you did the best job you could under the circumstances.

I hope for the next few months, thatMr. Del Gallo will get the respect he deserves...he stayed and took it
like a man with his  principles and beliefs....to be fair....end of story.

Move on and let it go ....the people who continue to point the fingerat a man who only wanted to do the right
thing

God Bless Mr. Del Gallo.    and Thank you

I have nothing to say...What does the Dems have to say?  They ran a popular Democrat Sheriff that had an enrollment advantage and wasn't able to secure 50% of the vote.  That's sad.

Democrats have a much easier time finding a leader for their party because their party is pre-organized due to the fact it's is made up of unionized public employees and government bureaucrats.  They really don't even need a leader.  The union membership within the party doesn’t need to be motivated by a leader, since their motivation comes from the fact that their political power in government directly translates into more money in their paychecks.  The organizational structure is already in place and the motivation is to serve their own self interests.  Organizing the Republican Party is much more difficult since they don't share that common thread the democrats do, the 'public contract negotiation' thread.
