BT-how did I incriminate myself?  You're mad!  Do you want more history?  Not sure what you were asking me.  I felt I answered your question.

The U.S. went to war with the 'radical german nazi regime' AFTER they declared war on us FIRST......correct?
The U.S. drafted young men to over throw the 'radical german nazi regime'.......correct?
Many innocent german's and young american boys were killed in the process........correct?

A 'YES' or 'NO' answer will suffice.

.........and.......????

booms...... You are the best at avoidance, 'baffle them with bullsh!t' and rhetoric!! Other than elevating yourself, your posts are like continually going through a revolving door......starting and ending up in the same place leading you nowhere!! You copy, paste and repeat from others with no opinions or thoughts of your own!! My continuing college education teaches me to think for myself and to be aware of the frauds!!!

BT--here's an opinion for you--you're full of crap!  Copy and paste--I don't need to.  My experience and education has served me quite well.  I may be a lot older than you, but there are some things I remember quite well.

The revovlving door is YOU!  You have no identity.  You keep cross-dressing like MM because you try to baffle the masses.

You asked a question and wanted a yes or no--you didn't ask for commentary.  The answer was Yes.  You don't like the answer because in this case AGAIN it ws the truth.  And you Mr.Esquire don't like the truth.

Like I said DVR--give it up.  If FDR was already discussing with people what was happening to the Jews in 1933--that is about ten years prior to th visit by the famous Jan Karski.  Yeah know DVR you can't always be right.  When I am wrong on this board I admit it.  That's your problem--you always think you're right.  At St. Rose we learned humility--too bad that is one more thing Siena screwed up on.  I am quite involved with many Siena committees and programs--one more thing I will mention to them besides the plethora of "conservative" candidates they seem to produce.

FDR couldn't have been talking about the death camps in 1933 -- as they did not exist at that point.

To say that FDR "sat idly" is in my opinion and the opinion of many other historians incorrect.   Just as it
is incorrect to say that the Vatican did nothing to help Jews and other groups that tried to escape Europe,

As for your aspersions about me or other Siena alumni - I will just consider the source --- Siena taught me
the value of being open-minded and review information from ALL sources and points of view.
As for your contention that I always think I am right -- I could say the same thing about you.  The fact that
I articulate with confidence my position is not something that I am ashamed of.

Not casting asperisions.  It scares me.  My son is a Senior there.

I never said he was talking about the death camps.  I said he knew what was happening to the Jews at that time.  1933.  As Siena alum, you must know about the Kieval Colloquiam as well as the Martin Luther King Event each year.  Racism, bigotry etc. are often conversations there on campus.  I lead a trip taking Siena faculty and students to the HOlocaust Museum.  Give it up DVR.  Get a ticket for tonight's game--and chill out.  Fortunately St. Rose still  leads the way working from the grassroots up relative to these issues.

I also attended St Mary's Prep in Orchard Lake which is a Polish-American institution .. and am very active
in the Polish-American Congress ..   I have studied World War II and the Holocaust.

I am not sure what you are getting at by your allusions to conversations about racism and bigotry  .. but
if you are implying that  I am a bigot or a racist because I don't believe that FDR  "sat idly" by -- then
you are way off base.

I have nothing against St Rose or the work it does .. so trying to start a debate by comparing the two is
also pointless.

Again.....when cornered due to lack of intelligence........use rhetoric! That is clearly about all you know! You were taught well!

Too bad we have gotten off the focus of the thread -- remembering Armistice Day.

our children are kept in the dark too long.....way past the age of reason......

sex ed is fine,,,it's up to mom and dad to show the boundaries
military is fine,,,,it's up to mom and dad to show the boundaries

its a great big world out there and the sooner our kids get suited up the sooner they will be adept at their skills and weapons.....and owning their own choices(liked or unliked by the parent)and consequences......THAT'S LIFE

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Wrong again Bumble.  If you are Orthodox, you need not serve but find an alternative work.  I know Jewish kids here who wsouldn't served in the American army but went to Israel to serve in the IDF.

Someone should remind these little Jewish kids that it is/was america who made Israel into the military super power that it is today! Without america, there would be no jewish nation!

It is apparent that liberal socialism has spread to the jews too!

The Israeli military is not like the US military -  Two years in the Israeli army will earn you College degree- a real  college degree - which comes in handy if you would say like to go on and  earn a Law Degree.  MUST join the army isn't so bad .
