The Buddhist group, "World Peace and Health Organization", has been slowly moving into Fulton & Montgomery Counties. They have purchased many buildings putting them back on the tax rolls, updated and modernized many homes, a school, churches, commercial property, and ADDED TO our community with out taking anything FROM our community. They have been greeted with suspicion, pranks, vandalism, hostility, harassment, theft and worst of all bigotry. They offer a peaceful way of life, a influx of badly needed dollars (millions of dollars) into the community. They are NOT on welfare, NOT taking away our jobs, NOT a drain on local resources, and unlike many businesses that we are trying to attract to this area, they are NOT looking for a Government subsidiary or handout. Today's gazette posts the latest act of hostility towards this group... a childish act of vandalism. As a resident of this area, I am embarrassed by the way this group has been treated. What is the Buddhists response to this treatment? WPHO spokeswoman Jennie Wong speaking for the group said: “Hatred doesn’t stop us loving other people and this town”. They've claimed tax EXEMPT on EVERY property they've purchased, without exception. That's a FACT. |

It's only Box saying they're "back on the tax rolls", not I. Nor am I "attacking". |

Some of their properties are RELIGIOUS and qualify for a tax exempt status. As I understand it, others were returned to the tax rolls, but not sure of that.

There are a lot of tax exempt religious temples located in Downtown Schenectady. Proctors Theater, Bomber Burrito Bar, Bow Tie Cinema. The leaders of these temples are all members of the Demoslamic Religion, the Metroplexian sect. The most important sacraments taught by this religion is tithing the money you save through your tax exemption to the Demoslamic Church of Schenectady County, and you will receive eternal tax exemption. |

Cicero You cut the quote short... it's not mine:
WPHO spokeswoman Jennie Wong speaking for the group said: “Hatred doesn’t stop us loving other people and this town”.

It's easy to figure out. Just look in the mirror and you will see what irrational looks like. |
