Well either you made it all the way to 8th grade, or are about 7 years old,
you certainly were not educated in NYS and by going back and reading
some of your "posts", there was no "legitmately disability" in most of them.
So stop faking it A.S.S.bag!

You constantly quote the past, dress with clothes from the past and appear to live in the past.
We are here in the present.

You should be here with us Ronnie Boy. I didn't hear FDG (aka Heartattack Hal) and Bobby G.
(aka Hitler) bring to the table any five year plan. They brought just a lot of vengence with cutting
employees, calling other town board members names and questioning their ethics.  FDG you may
be here for one more year, however, we as residents are counting down the days till you and Bobby
G. are a part of Ronnie Severson's history lesson.

If you read my post carefully, you will see that I am saying that every budget should be a part of a longer
term fiscal plan.   I applauded Mr. Paolino for having a prudent 5 year plan in place and drafting budgets
that fit into that long-term plan.

As for your ad hominem attacks on me -- quite honestly,  I believe you are a lonely, bitter, witch whose
only source of joy is making personal attacks on others.    You need to get your head examined.  I couldn't
care less what you think or say about me ... because I don't need to be validated by some lonely witch who
hasn't had the loving touch of another human in years and whose replacement for a man ran out of battery power years ago.

Have you bought any real estate in the town of Rotterdam yet Ronnie?
Or are you still living with the elderly aunts and sponging off of them?
You would not have been attacked had you legitimately received
the deputy town clerk position instead of trying to undermine the
person already in the position and kicking her out.  While I am
no fan of MG, I do not think that EE was thinking with all barrels
when she supposedly put you in that position.  The office of the
town clerk needs a complete overhaul, starting with the resignation
of EE and an election held.

Hello Forum members and visitors:
The video of the November 10 meeting is on being shown on Channel 18 (Time Warner cable).  It started at 7pm and I understand it was quite a long meeting so if you tune in sometime during the next couple hours, you can catch the circus.

And thanks to Open Stage Media for broadcasting this replay in such a timely manner!  Great job.

Del Gallo’s run for office in 2009 included a pledge to reform the assessor’s office. In campaign literature he disseminated before the election, he pledged to restore “dignity and respect” to the office.
“The current assessor, Mr. Craig Surprise, does not treat residents or businesses with proper respect,” the campaign flier stated. “That’s wrong.”
(from the thread Surprise OUT - Majejka IN Admin post of Gazette article)

So during this meeting, FDG called ND a liar, and to shut up.  When resident and TB candidate FS complained about this treatment of ND, He was told That's a great show, you oughta take it on the road, you'd make a lot of money!  So FDG complains that the assessor is disrespectful, but reams a sitting TB memeber publicly, and a private resident who admonished this behavior.  Do as I say, not as I do!

The Parks and Recreation Commission met at 5:30 PM on November 10 and voted to send the final
Town Parks and Recreation Commission Plan to the Town Board.   Since there was no time to add it to
the Supervisor's Report, I presented it during the Public Comment -- so that it would be done publicly
rather than just be handed to the members of the Town Board out of public view.
During the drafting of this Plan, 5 Public Input sessions were held from May 2010 through August 2010.
It is now up to the Town Board to review the plan and, I would hope -- to have additional public comments
and input.    Copies of the plan are available in the Supervisor's Office  and will eventually be posted online
--- the "draft" version is online but needs to be updated to the new version that was presented.

I will save my comments about the budget cuts to the Parks and Recreation program for another post.

DV, do you support the Supervisor's comments toward Ms. DiLeva?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

To say that I tried to "undermine" the current First Deputy Town Clerk is just plain and simply put -- a lie.

The fact is that Michelle Golden was going to resign as First Deputy Ton Clerk to take a different position
within the town.   A letter was written by Town Clerk Eunice Esposito appointing me a First Deputy Clerk upon the resignation of Ms. Golden.   I was asked if I would accept the appointment .. AFTER the appointment
was made and without any prior knowledge of what was transpiring regarding Ms. Golden.

Ms. Golden withdrew her resignation for whatever reason.

Proof that I had no intent to "undermine" anyone - is that when asked to fill in as 2nd Deputy Clerk for the
Town Board meeting during Ms. Golden's honeymoon .. I gladly did so and .. I might add  .. did so without
hesitation or compensation.

I still hold Ms. Golden in the same high regard as I did when she was appointed a First Deputy Town Clerk
and if you care to review the old tapes .. I was the only one who during the Public Comment on Personnel Matters spoke favorably on her appointment earlier this year.

Rotterdam’s budget cuts spending, lowers taxes

John Purcell 11/17/10More articles

Board members clash over budget amendments before approval

Rotterdam’s approved budget cut spending even further than the Town Supervisor had anticipated, even if he didn’t agree with the changes.

During the final hours of Rotterdam’s budget discussions, Conservative Nicola DiLeva, Democrat Matthew Martin and Republican Gerard Parisi presented their list of amendments, which were then given to Supervisor Frank Del Gallo and Deputy Supervisor Robert Godlewski for the first time during the Town Board meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

The residential property tax increase dropped from approximately 7.4 percent to 3.5 percent and the commercial property tax increase was reduced form approximately 11.4 percent to 7.4 percent. The amendments reduced spending by another $191,000 and no employees would be eliminated form their position in the proposed changes.

The nearly three hour long meeting held moments of verbal sparing between the supervisor and fellow board members that drafted the proposed changes.

“When you have a panel of five people and a supervisor that is in charge of a budget you owe him the right to work with him, you owe him the respect to work with him,” said Del Gallo. “You don’t come up at the last hour, at the last night, when the vote is coming on and say we got a new budget and we want you to vote on it.”

DiLeva tried to interject and reply to Del Gallo’s statement, but he abruptly stopped her from answering.

“When I’m done talking, you talk. Until then, you keep your mouth shut,” said Del Gallo as some crowd member quickly shouted against his demand. “Keep her mouth shut till I’m done talking,” said Del Gallo as he raised his voice in response.

Eventually Parisi butted in and said to Del Gallo, “We asked for meetings for six months and you ignored everybody — give me a break.”

DiLeva echoed Parisi’s comment and said she had been requesting a meeting for months from the supervisor to talk with department heads as board.

“You haven’t asked for nothin’ … stop and tell the truth Nicky, you never have and you never will,” said Del Gallo. “You never asked for nothing from me.”

Parisi stated DiLeva had asked at public meetings to have the board meet and discuss the budget, but Del Gallo wasn’t backing down from his argument.

“You undermined me from the day I came into office, all of you,” said Del Gallo. “I will be here for another year and I will do the best I can for the citizens of Rotterdam, without one nickel from them, without any credit for them, I want nothing for it. I’m not looking for my next campaign and votes like you all are, so why don’t you just do the job you took on and quit fighting with the administration and work with them and don’t work against them.”

DiLeva asked if she could answer the supervisor and he said she could, “but it won’t be the truth.”

“First of all I resent everything that the supervisor has said,” stated DiLeva. “Since we have been on this board we have been trying to work with the supervisor.”

After failed attempts to try and setup a meeting with the supervisor, said DiLeva, she reached out to Parisi and Martin to draft amendments to the budget to lower the tax increase. She said she and the other board members separately meet or discussed with department heads and the Comptroller Patrick Aragosa about their goal to lower spending.

Del Gallo pressed DiLeva to answer what department heads she had talked to, but she said she didn’t want name people because of the experience she had while working on the amendments.

“Every time I talk to somebody in here, they get questioned,” said DiLeva.

The board eventually recessed, so department heads in attendance could all have a list of the proposed changes. Also, the supervisor and deputy supervisor had some time to look over the amendments.

Before voting on the changes, DiLeva went through and discussed the each of the more than 70 drafted amendments to the budget.

Some of the changes included cutting all office supplies for every department by 10 percent, reducing spending in the law department, cutting spending in the police and public works department, adding $100,000 in revenue of ALS related billing from emergency medical services and adding an additional $100,000 from the fund balance to total $1.6 million used from the reserve..........................................>>>>............................>>>>..............................http://www.spotlightnews.com/news/view_news.php?news_id=1290030129
