I wonder if the Tea Party gave George Washington a bad time when he proposed the US Postal System ...
I mean .. how dare the Father of our Country  nationalize our mail system ...

If only there was UPS 240 years ago.  George Washington may have reconsidered.

Huh?  This doesn't even make sense?

I guess if you want to experience socialism before it goes national, start going to the V.A. Hospitals for medical treatment.  Much better than that "for profit" heath care

The whole thing could be privatized for greater efficiency and lower costs, but the abject screams of terror and fear would ring throughout the land from the lips of the socialists and democraps who want to protect the unionized workers. Instead of reprimanding them when they dump a bag of our mails into a trash dumpster, the postal workers would get fired.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

One isn't compelled to belong to any.....except for the postal service in which we cant afford the workers....ITS ALWAYS ABOUT CHOICE
WITHOUT PENALTY.....consequences are what we live with individually.....but,,,a penalty for not taking national healthcare? really? this
is America?

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Most posters on this board wouldn't recognize a Socialist if they tripped over one.

You may not agree with Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, but Bernie does represent the People of Vermont better than most of their politicians.  Bernie is a popular,  successful politician and a Socialist.

The Almanac of American Politics has called Sanders a "practical" and "successful legislator." He has focused on the shrinking middle class and widening income gap in America that is greater than at any time since the Great Depression. Other priorities include universal health care, fair trade policies, supporting veterans and preserving family farms.

Bernie Sanders was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2006 after serving 16 years in the House of Representatives. He is the longest serving independent member of Congress in American history.

For most on this board the word Socialist means Karl Marx.  For the rest of the the world, Bernie represents a modern socialist.

I don't want a government master. I want to be a free American, or I want to die. It is either/or. I am not interested in slavery or subjugation.

I saw Lawrence O'Donnell make his statement.  And he was right.  He is a socialist just like ALL of you and me.  Did you hear that Cis, BT, GB, BS, Zorro, Gadfly etc.  You needed to hear the a complete spot not a snippet.  So fellow socialists in Rotterdam-I suggest you rethink your accusations.  Boxy is always on the right side of the issue.

No, most people understand that Communism is Karl Marx.  Socialism is Europe, or the 1% annual economic growth, or better yet, Greece with the rioting bureaucrats and collapsing economy.  Look no further than California and New York to see how well Socialism works within the United States.  California is $90 billion in debt and New York is $61 billion in debt on the verge of collapse.  Who are we in debt to you ask - state union pension funds and social welfare programs.   And instead of recognizing the failure of the socialist style policies in these States, the parasite Socialist need to look for more money and push the Socialist agenda on the Federal level.  Thank God the results of these mid-terms loudly rejected it.
