Paladino Won 13 Counties,
Ten of those 13 counties were in far Western NY State, Paladino's home turf.  The three upstate counties that voted for Paladino, Fulton, Hamilton and Schoharie, only chose Paladion over Cuomo by a combined total of 800+ votes.

The Republican/Tea party did well in these elections, but in our area, and in NY State, the TeaParty only served a very weak tea.

Boxy....what else did you expect...are you surprised?........this is NYS! It isn't just BLUE it's NAVY BLUE!!!

Too many 'friends and family clubs', too many people with their hands out, too many public employees, too many lucrative influential unions, too much corruption, too many liberal media spins!!

Hell, even some red candidates turn BLUE just to get elected!!

It's just sooooooooooo NYS and the reason why businesses and people are fleeing the state as fast as they can!! No one would move to NYS on purpose!!

You got it all wrong Bumble...
TeaBaggers Kill Good Candidates...

Republicans in Albany are calling for the resignation of the state Republican chairman, Ed Cox.
They blame Cox for not supporting Rick Lazio, or another strong Republican candidate, which lead to the nomination of Carl Paladino.

Republicans blame the failed Paladino coat tails for the loss of many Republicans throughout the state... notably Harry Wilson who lost the comptroller's race, and Daniel M. Donovan attorney general.

Cox could have backed an actual Republican instead of TeaBagger Paladino who never had a chance to win in NY State.
For Example, Cox could have chosen this Republican as noted in the Times Union:

"ALBANY -- Republican Comptroller candidate Harry Wilson began Wednesday conceding to incumbent Democrat Tom DiNapoli.
Still, Wilson said he was glad to have come so close to winning. "We went from absolute obscurity to the verge of victory," he said, adding that he drew 450,000 more votes than Carl Paladino."
(Times Union)

An unknown, poorly financed but capable Republican drew half a million more votes than Paladino and his Tea Party. How sad for real Republicans. Instead of TeaBagger Paladino, Republican Harry Wilson just might have won!

Tea Baggers DO kill good candidates.......that's the point.....it's the will of the people that's to rule....NOT the will of the machine

and 'good candidates' are those IN THE MACHINE, according to the gumbas
