Viscusi, Carlo ROTTERDAM Carlo Viscusi, 78, died suddenly Friday October 29, 2010 surrounded by his loving family and friends. Carlo was born in Squille, Italy, the son of the late Zelindo and Clelia Maria Ulino Viscusi. He came to this country in 1955. A carpenter by trade, he worked for and retired from the Carpenters Local 370. Carlo had a strong work ethic, always doing the very best job he could. He was very family oriented and loved his family and was loved deeply. He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Rotterdam. Carlo was the beloved husband of Filomena Sgueglia Viscusi, whom he married February 28, 1957; beloved father of Maria (Walter) Delmonaco, Zelindo (Glorianna) Viscusi, Carla (Richard) France all of Rotterdam, Lora (James) Cannistraci of Colonie; loving grandfather of Annalisa (Joshua), Cassandra, Joseph, Steven, Carlo, Rachael, Olivia, Alberto, Nico; beloved brother of Arcangela (Francesco) Campagnano, the late Antonio (Angela) Viscusi, all of Rotterdam, Franco (Maria) Viscusi of Princetown, Bernardino (Maria) Viscusi, Renato (Giustina), all of Rotterdam, and Beatrice (Antonio) Sgueglia of Calif.; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends. Calling hours will be held Monday November 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin Tuesday 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd., Rotterdam.
