Boom you're really out of touch with main stream America because the mistakes Murphy made was voting for the stimulus and for health-care both of which are very unpopular with 2/3 of this country so he paid the price at the polls for it. The Dems were warned if they voted for health-care they would get voted out of office and they failed to heed the warning to their peril.

If Gibson is thanking Littlefield then Littlefield must have been helping him which makes Gibson even a bigger goof than I originally thought.  Boy Siena sure produces some crazies.  Gibson does not have what it takes.  Too bad Murphy didn't do a better job in his campaigning because he is definitely the better man.  I hope Gibson doesn't look cross-eyed at Brad--it will be instantly over for him.  Send the Tea Party back.  They make lousy Republicans.

Siena has graduated a lot of good people  -- and among the many alumni who have run for or served in
public office  ... they represent a broad spectrum of partisan affiliation and political ideology.

For example -- former California Governor George Deukmijian was a Siena Class of 1948 grad.

The other race with Tedisco was in the midst of Obamamania plus there number of NYC voters that registered in the district at their "summer homes" upstate was outrageous (thanks ACORN.) However the district went back to its normal voting pattern after they have been burned plus the NYC voters went back home to vote.

Wow! Talk about a blast from the past. He was smart enough to flee across country.

Brad Littlefield was smart enough to flee this Socialist paradise County and the working together DEM idiots that still run everything into the ground.

Brad Littlefied is a whiny baby.  He should get out of politics altogether.  He will try to ride on the coat tails of Gibson now.

That's a pretty good post, and no, I'm not Kevin.

Gerard
, I mean Black Spidey/Greeny/Marina explain to me how the local Republican mess isn't your fault?  You were the chairman, you were the town attorney and Tommasone henchman, you were the town hall bully, explain to me why you don't share in the blame?

As another poster wrote, wasn't it Parisi who dropped Mertz from the ticket?  If it was sour grapes on Mertz's part, why didn't the party control that?  How could one person have so much influence in the elections?  Do you honestly believe that Mertz is some sort of election/campaign genius?  Give me a break!

Kevin has it right, it has nothing to do with Mertz (he doesn't singlehandely control political destinations) it had to do with those in power going the wrong direction.  Littlefield, Mertz, McGarry and Oconnor just happened to have the right message without a major party line.

So, if you want to know who runined the party, blame the ones with the power at the time and STOP giving Mertz so much credit!

Ok, ok, Marina-boomer-peeper-DVR-Greeny-Spidey-and whoever else, after reading post after post about Mertz, I am changing my mind.  Mertz for President!  He obviously outsmarted every Rep that didn't support him (because they are all now out of office), the local GOP fell completely apart without him (and continues to spiral out of control), he was apparently used by the right people because Amedore won, when the Reps had him on the ticket they won and won big, and while I thought he was a hasbeen, the posters on this blog keep his name enshrined in local politics.  IF, after all this, he's still able to generate so much emotion from the politicos, then he needs to be on the next GOP ticket.

As a side not, I have it on very good authority that he will never run for office again.  That should make every democrat in the town very happy.  But Bumble, you would have my support to run again, they are obviously very worried about you coming back.  Keep pissing them off, it means they are still worried about you.

Sorry to include you in the list boomer, you obviously get it.  Buchanan is still running the party, word is that he is calling some sort of meeting to bring all the Reps back together.  From what I hear, he is going to tell everyone to get together or get out, not sure he can do that, but I think it's more symbolic than anything else.  Probably still good for the Dems that he's still at the helm.

Don't include me in that group.  I personally do not think that Bumblethru is Mertz.  I still maintain it is Kevin March.  I do not care about  John Mertz.  He is gone and all but forgotten.  Kelly Rhinesmith created this fictional obsession with Mertz.  She tells posters that this person is Mertz, that person is Steve, that person is Diane, that person is Deb, that person is Peter G, that person is Randy P, that person is Bob G, that person is Paul B, this person is Bob H, this person is Gerard, that person is Jennifer, this person is John M, this person is Ron, that person is Tony J, that person is Matt M, this person is anyone but her close knit kool aid drinking apostles.  Never does Kelly refer to "her" peeps by name.  No Nikki, no Joann, no Caroilina, no Marge S, no Gary S, no whomever is drinking Kelly's juice.  Get my point Zorro who is probably either Kelly or Mertz or Don Juan or George Costanzo or Peter Comenzo.......its all about Kelly and her little play ground of deceipt!  IMHO

At days end.......who the eff cares??? Really????

You peepers don't get it.  Kelly tells you who certain people are to figure out who YOU are.  ROTFLMAO!!

Keep bringing Mertz's name to the head of the list ... you're giving him better PR than his party did!
