Yeah, I am sure the ridge runners up in Wells and Northville can't wait to put her in. What do they do when you tell then you are from Schenectady?
Actually, they are very friendly ... I know the area and have some family connections there. I can "speak their language" ... and am a good listener. truth be told .. I should be running for State Senator |

I would write my own material. Probably focus more on radio than tv. Would prefer a series of Lincoln-Douglas style debates. |

That is probably a really good idea. |

Quite honestly --- the format of the debate last week sucked. each candidate asked the same question -- but only got about 2 minutes to answer .... and those silly "red cards" to get 2 chances to do a follow up or rebuttal.
At least with a Lincoln-Douglas Debate each candidate can ask the other questions --- and they can go back and forth. Then you could add in audience questions --- even that was problematic last week ... you had to write your questions on a card about 20 minutes BEFORE the debate started.
I had a lot of questions that "popped in my mind" once the debate was underway ... but by then it was too late to ask. You know .. the kind of question that emerges based on something one or the other candidates said.
BTW - I am just old enough to remember attending Mr. Farley's first debate in 1976 with then State Senator Fred Isabella. I will be nice .. and just say ... time has changed us all. |

Quoted from 778
Are the Rotterdam Dems working their asses off in Saratoga, Montgomery and Fulton County's? I don't think so. My source tells me its over. Farley in a cakewalk. At least Jimmy and George will get a bounce from the incumbent Senator from Niskayuna.
Women's groups in the other counties love Hugh. Pedro Espada is an absolute non factor upstate. Another wasted commercial bust.
I scooped the scoop. Posted October 17, 2010. Thank you very much. |

There are no such things as the 'real dems' any more. Not in schenectady county. The liberal socialists thought it was going to be a cake walk! This is what happens when a political party abandons it's roots, becomes a brothel for prostitutes and allows itself to be taken over by another party aka con party. Judy Dago was the beginning of the end.....Santabarbara sealed it's fate!! IMHO of course |

Put a fork in Savage, she's done. |

The fact is that Ms. Savage has several dozen local volunteers working on her campaign. We can afford to send the state committee's paid staff to races that don't have as many volunteers to do the work. |

When the paid Democratic staff are pulled off a campaign to work for other Dems who still have a chance of winning it's a sign that the fat lady is singing. |

Yeah, can you see Farley doing anything for Allentown. Bet Savage would, would spend our tax dollars on them too.
Well, DV, have you kissed Savage goodbye yet? She is DONE. Obviously the people have seen that there is/was no miracle |
