Quoted from Sombody
There is book called something like " A thousand things to do before you die " I remember seeing eating ribs in Memphis and riding camels around the Egyptian pyramids .

yeah -- that is the idea of this thread

I would tell folks where my favorite  eating place is in the whole wide world ... but then that quiet
low country road in South Carolina would get too crowded.

I would love to walk through the Anfiteatro Flavio and Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Piante  and of
course - relax on the terrace of a villa in Tuscany while drinking wine and enjoying some of the local
"dishes"         (and some local food, too)

The  Antifiteatro Flavio is commonly known as "The Coliseum"  ... and  Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Piante
is the church on the Via Appia Antica   just outside Roma where  Jesus appeared to Saint Peter.   It is better
known as the  Church of Domine Quo Vadis - because Peter asked Jesus   "where are you going?  (quo vadis)
and Jesus responded "to Rome to be crucified again" ...... so Peter returned to Roma and his martyrdom.
The cool thing about this church is that it contains the alleged footprints of Jesus  (that explains why it is
referred to as  "della Piante"  .. thus  Church of Saint Mary of the Footprint (of Jesus).

I want to go to all the places mentioned already plus I want to visit the State of Montana I had friends live there and they always talked so fondly of it.  Have to see the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore and the Hoover Dam.

Want to see the Great Wall of China.

Want to see the Coliseum.
Uh oh I could go on and on....

Grand Canyon ..most definitely

Great Wall of China .. and that city with the life sized clay soldiers in China

Yosemite Valley and Yellowstone -- in both the summer and the winter

and Sarah Palin's house for a back yard-lake side cook out with fresh caught salmon grilled .. and some
of her sausage made from moose
