Edison Avenue is totally flooded and closed to traffic. Broadway is flooded out by 890. DSS has closed due to high water. No word on the status of the 2 hot dog jobs created by the much heralded SS Savage miracle. Totally avoid Broadway neat 890. Van Guysling is closed north of Edison Avenue.

Renaissance!!!  Instead of repairing the infastructure, THEN building (or welcoming new businesses that want to invest their own money) - NOW they can claim two new job "creations" when the water recedes and the hot dog workers go back to work.

Aint Democrats grand?

Great location for DSS! These DEM morons knew this was a prime mudslide area. SS Savage.Death Ray said this was a great location. Don't let Death Ray pick the new County Home Site-he'll put it on the airport runaway.

This just in. SS Savage has promised to come down and part the waters. Mere rain water cannot stand in the way of "renaissance".

That's ok, it's privately owned property now (to one of their buddies) - I'm sure it's WELL insured when that hill comes crashing down (with all the boulders). Pray they're insured ENOUGH if someone gets injured.

Antiquated infrastructure!!!!!!

Schenectady county's liberal socialists, including the metroplex is a CULT of huge proportion!!! They are sucking the life and money out of it's residents! They are greasing the hands of the selected few to garner campaign contributions and votes!! And the gazette is promoting their lie and the sheople believe it!!! It is clearly a CULT BRAINWASHING at it's best!!!

However, once these liberal socialists try to run for a state job ........... as benny would say........you could stick a fork in them....cause nobody wants them....they are DONE.......like Savage and Santabarbara!

I'm surprised the embankment behind the dss building hasn't come mudsliding down!!! That is a tragedy waiting to happen. Even the dss employees are concerned for their safety!!! But what the hell, as long as the developers made their quick buck, who the hell cares about the workers or the taxpayers?????

What a shameful disgrace!!!

They won't be able to get "their" money to buy booze, burger king and Xbox games! This is a constitutional travesty! Where is the ACLU and the crapservative party to stick up for their poor rights?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I'm tellin' ya.......it's like a freakin' CULT!!!

We need some intervention here!!! Oh....I forgot, there are no reps left in schenectady county to intervene! So I guess the reps are just as responsible for the sh!thole condition schenectady county is in. They are all too busy stroking their egos without ONE regard for the taxpayers!!

Clearly all of schenectady county's political parties are more interested with their arrogant egos, power, greed and political positioning that they seem to have forgotten about 'desire to serve the people'!!!!

THANK GOD I'M A REGISTERED BLANK!!

The water on Broadway and Edison was actually part of our new  County Wellness Program ... called
"ROW A CANOE TO WORK DAY"

You folks need to lighten up ... I am surprised that you didn't blame us Democrats for the heavy rainstorm
or for the lead paint chips you folks must have ingested during your formative years.

Then maybe you shouldn't be paying for a taxing district on your water, but you use it everyday for other things, don't you, unlike some services around town, but I guess we won't go there on this link.

I don't mind paying a tax for the water district ....  indoor plumbing is such a neat new idea.    and this
new fangled "horseless carriage" that will pick you up and take you to the hospital if you get hurt or sick ...
man ... I never thought I'd see the day when we'd get such innovations in this here town.
