Farley "triple dips" to the tune of over $200,000 a year.
Farley spent $3.6 million of taxpayer money on "personal services" as a State Senator.
Farley has been in a leadership post in the GOP majority in the State Senate for many years --- he is Mr. Legislative Dysfunction.

She is an elected official!!! And beauty is in obviously in the eye of the beholder. And I really could care less that she looks creepy........her poltics STINK! Savage is a tax and spend arrogant liberal socialist who will lose this election HANDS DOWN!! And I predict that she will bring Santabarbara right down with her! IMHO
ANG never had a chance. He was used by the DEM machine to trick a few voters. Complete failure. He should have stayed a REP and waltzed into the Assembly in 2 years. Now his political career is finished. He will get crushed by the very popular George Amedore and then booted off the pathetic stunad County legislator.
Mr. Santabarbara and Ms. Savage will ride the Democratic wave in New York to victory !!!!!!

You mean like it is right now and has been under the Dems for the last term under Spitzer and Patterson.
The GOP dysfunction -- crippled the State Senate -- that is why we need 3 to 4 sets to go "blue" to ensure that Andrew Cuomo has BOTH the Assembly and the Senate working with him -- WORKING TOGETHER WORKS
As far as Mr. Spitzer goes -- I didn't vote for him ... met him once .. he came across as self-centered, arrogant, and obnoxious --- I wouldn't waste my vote on him.

Well somebody voted for him because he won. Having a dead locked Senate and Assembly may be a good thing because it may stop the endless stream of pork coming out of them.

The funny thing is ... I met David Paterson at the same event ... IMHO ... David Paterson is the nicest persons in politics that I have ever met --- (federal, state, or local) ---the only other who was as nice to me was George Herbert Walker Bush whom I met in 1979 when he was running in the Presidential Primaries.
Anyway --- Mr. Paterson, another man, and myself had this great conversation .. as if we had known each other for years .. (the other man and myself had never met David before) .

Did anyone see the latest tv commercial about Savage??
It highlights her 100k taxpayer funded "salary" over the last few years for a no-show job with NYS....to camapign for Kratz...it's priceless.
JUST SAY NO TO NO-SHOW SAVAGE !!
Yes I did!!! And it was 'right on' and people know it!! She does not have and accomplished history in Schenectady county. Under her leadership she has turned the county into the 19th highest taxed in the country. Crime is at an all time high with 2 shooters still running loose. Mt.Pleasant has now become the 2nd Hamilton Hill. Unemployment is 60%. And increased spending!!!

According to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics the Albany-Schenectady-Troy "metropolitan area" has a 6.8 % unemployment rate for August 2010 which is BELOW the state and federal unemployment rates
Farley's cheerleaders claim that Schenectady County has a 60% unemployment rate -- the statistics prove other wise ------so another GOP "false accusation"* has been proven wrong.
According to the NYS Division of Criminal Justice "index of crimes reported 2005-2009" -- the number of crimes is actually DOWN --- in the following categories ---"violent crime", murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, and motor vehicle theft .... the only categories that it is up is in property crime, burglary and larceny.
Farley's cheerleaders claim that crime is up and murderers rampant in Schenectady County --- the statistic prove other wise --------so another GOP "false accusation"* has been proven wrong
(* -- personally I would prefer to use the phrase "bald faced lie" .. but the politically correct "private citizens" who don't like Democrats get all upset when I say it like it really is )

The add says unemployement is UP 60%, not at 60%. Big difference
That means, if unemployment was 4.2% and his risen to 6.8% during the reign of Savage, then it went up 60%
Try researching the right claims. Or is this a "bald face lie"?

When Schenectady County Legislature Chairwoman Democrat Susan Savage announced five months ago that she was running against one of the longest-serving members currently in the state Senate, it appeared to be the first real contest for 44th District Republican Hugh Farley in at least a decade.
Savage is likely the strongest leader in the county Democratic Party, and Farley could be considered a target in the wake of last year's Senate coup and lingering dysfunction at the Capitol.
But thus far, Farley's campaign war chest remains robust at $355,053, according to the most recent campaign filing, while Savage has $52,211. A Siena poll released at the end of last month revealed not only that Savage trailed Farley 55 percent to 37 percent among 400 likely voters in Montgomery, Fulton, Saratoga and Schenectady counties, but that many in her key voting blocs -- women and residents of her home county -- don't plan to vote for her.
But poll respondents also said 46 percent to 45 percent that they wanted to vote for someone other than the 34-year incumbent.
Savage, 48, is a Niskayuna mother of nine who was first elected to the Schenectady County Legislature in 1997. She started her campaign with a "change" message, one that has been echoed across the state by challengers trying to wrest control from incumbent senators. But then Savage began focusing on the economic prosperity she says she brought to Schenectady, demonstrated best in a television ad that has garnered some criticism for calling the still-struggling city "a miracle."....................>>>>..................>>>>................http://www.timesunion.com/default/article/Tussle-in-the-44th-695985.php
