Hugh Farley is double dipping to the tune of almost $200,000 a year --- that is HUGE.

For what little we pay our town board members, I don't consider accepting that compensation as
"double dipping" but you would have to ask Mr. Calder what his plans are in that regard.

Come on DVR....double standard?????
It is still the taxpayer's money...plain and simple!!
How about the town board and every elected official including the town clerks position and receiver of taxes, refusing their pay??
Now that would be making a statement, huh?

The Town Clerk and Town Receiver of Taxes are FULL TIME jobs -- so I see no reason why they
should work for nothing.
The Town Supervisor and Town Councilmembers are not full time -- our Supervisor does not
collect his pay .. but he works full time.     I would beok .. either way .. if those officials kept or
gave back their pay.
You forgot the Superintendent of Highways .. also elected .. also a full time job -- but he can keep
his pay as far as I am concerned.

I won't mention the name of the town .. but a smaller town near Schenectady .. I know for a fact
that the Superintendent of Highways got a "barn-like" garage built to house the town equipment ..
built on HIS OWN property with taxpayer $$$.   He got to keep the building after he left office.

In some towns, the Town Clerk and the Town Justice(s) actually have their offices in their homes --
that is why State Law requires the town to pay for a sign  "Town Clerk" or "Town Justice" to hang
outside those two offices in every town in the state.

Mr DelGallo works more than full time at the job of Town Supervisor (which is paid a part time
salary .. which he doesn't even take)   .. so what is your complaint?
