SS Savages new WTF party {with ANG} has been thrown off the November ballot. This is the second humiliating defeat for SS Savage in less than a week. Savage failed to trick enough CONS voters in her hijack attempt for Row D.

SS Savage is down to just 2 lines in November the DEM and the no vote Working Family Party. Get the fork ready-this one's done.

If this is true -- we will just have to continue to work hard and get the folks to vote on the Democratic line.

It's over. Savage and ANG are both finished. Good luck trying to get DEMS to the polls during a REP tidal wave.

Savages run for the Conservative ticket was never really an attempt to take over the Conservative party's nomination.  Savage took 1/3 of the total votes in a race where Farley was the only name on the ballot.
It showed that he is vulnerable.

I expect her to do well in November.

She did "well" alright. Especially in Saratoga County where she couldn't even get a single vote. Not one vote! Savage will not carry a single County in November.

Savage could get a single vote in an entire County! But she did "really well". How do you do worse than zero?

Yeah, she got her 241 cop union conservative party votes and she even came up short on THAT! Throw in Satanbarbara's family and the local cop union boss should be able to pull 350 votes! WHAAA HAAAPened?

Did you see SS Savage's new TV commercial?

I was looking for the white chalk outlines on the sidewalks.  They were apparently airbrushed out of the video.

Savage won’t get ‘Change Albany’ line
Friday, September 17, 2010 at 12:28 PM by Jimmy Vielkind in 2010 State Senate Election, Hugh Farley, Susan Savage

An attempt by Susan Savage, the chair of the Schenectady County Legislature, to create an independent ballot line has failed.

The State Board of Elections voted 4-0 on Thursday to reject Savage’s effort to create the “Change Albany Now!” line. Savage also failed Tuesday in her attempt to run on the Conservative line, losing a write-in campaign to incumbent Sen. Hugh Farley, R-Niskayuna.

Now, Savage is running on the Democratic and Working Families Party lines; Farley is running on the Republican, Independence and Conservative party lines.

Savage filed 3,897 petitions, her spokesman Travis Proulx said, exceeding the 3,000 signature threshold needed. But after challenges, enough were ruled invalid to reject the line.

“We think it’s completely hypocritical to run on a Change Albany Now line to begin with; she’s the ultimate Albany insider,” said Kelly Cummings, a spokeswoman for Farley, noting Savage and her husband are registered lobbyists.

“We’re focused on November 2, because the voters who signed this petition to start a line to change Albany are going to vote to change Albany whether this line is in the voting booth or not,” said Proulx, noting Farley is a 34-year incumbent. “The only person in the world who doesn’t seem to understand the need to change Albany is Hugh Farley.”

I wonder if this means that the line in total is gone (for Angelo Santabarbara also).

Satanbarbara's all sat home or voted with the vast majority for Sen Farley. Everyone is laughing at stunad Savage. There will be no WTF Party in Schenectady County-what a loss for those ashamed to vote on the DEM line.

The Santabarbaras did no such thing...they showed up along with the other pen wielders for Savage...make no mistake about that.
Remember...the Kratz now own the Santabarbaras...just look at the petitions from this cycle. It's amazing just how far they have
fallen since joining that socialist cartel.

I would bet that the write-ins came from the hard core of the RPD and SPD union backers of the Chief and his family plus the Satanbarbaras. A TON of the other conservatives are appalled. That includes a whole mess of police from all the departments and their families. Next thing you know the 'leaders' will be asking the cops county-wide to vote for Jane Fonda, Ho Chi Min and Mumia Abu Jamal. They are falling off the CONliberalitive democrap express pretty fast. I wonder if they will have what it takes to seize the Independence Party from the firefighters once the C party goes bye-bye. I don't think so.

The cons are losing their credibility. I mean they 'really' thought they had a winner in Savage?     Looks like they don't have the 'influence' they once had and thought they still do. Looks like the only party left for the cops to take over is the WFP. And after the ACORN episode....that is a laughable party as well.

Looks like they will all just have to join the liberal socialist party. This clearly has nothing to do with ideology, or what is best for the taxpayers. It's all about power and greed!
