DVofR,
Your opinion doesn't matter in this case... you can stay glued to Fox Noise, but the youth market that Fixed News need to continue in it's ratings domination on cable, depends on a steady supply of young viewers.  With Fox's demographics as the OLDEST NETWORK on cable, their situation is even worse than most.

As far as these "news shows" being mixed with comedy... when I watch Faux News, it's all comedy!

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Actually I am not glued to FOX or CNN  (which I watch about equally) -- my favorite TV stations
TMC, the History Channel, and PBS

Public Education X Comedy News + Bong Hits = Barack Obama.

Box is right DVOR, it doesn't matter, the fact is, 18-24 year olds are easily whipped into a frenzy and easily convinced that clever one liners and ironic statements delivered by professional comedians is intellectually honest news and news analysis.

Pot heads around America rely on Stewart/Colbert for news analysis.  It's scary.

The young people are lovin' obama!! He is giving them unemployment for 99 weeks, free tax paid health care OR mommy and daddy can cover your a$$ until you're 27 years old!! And after 10 years, if you didn't pay your college loan back....it's forgiven!! Hey, they aren't stupid....just brain dead and lazy!!!

The government just dumbs 'em down!!!

5o years from now, when historians look back at the Obama administration, they will celebrate the fact that President Barack Obama finally signed Health Care Reform into law.

first .. I don't believe that most young people are "potheads" or are easily whipped into a
frenzy or convinced with clever one liners

second .. if you believe that Colbert and Stewart are "intelluatlly honest news and news analysis"
then maybe you are smoking something funny,

Either your reading comprehension sucks or you're smoking pot.  I said the 18-24 year olds (NOT ME) are easily convinced that Colbert/Stewart (comedians) delivering the news is intellectually honest news and news analysis.

Health-Care hasn't been proven to be Constitutional yet so time will tell.

Its just proof that as you get older you get smarter..life experience does that.
If you take a typical 60 year old and go back 40 years, you're right in the flower power/vietnam era.. you would think that people this age would be dyed in the wool liberals, but they're not. Peoples political bent is not a constant..

especially after the LSD wears off and their yuppy farmer's market food and LLBean overcoats are beginning to cost too much along
with their 'love everyone through the government' ideologies.......

it's not money that lifts folks out of poverty, it's the familiarity that gets breed into us via our own doing........

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
