Not true 55.  I was at the Mosque to break fast with them for Ramadan.  I brought 11 people with me--Jews, Christians, and Unitarians.  The Mosque was filled with moderates who denounce radiscal extremists.

They need to get out of their box, doing it at a Ramadan breakfast won't get it done.
I also said LOUDLY and PUBLICLY!! That's the problem. It seems they don't want to profess it in a PUBLIC forum. If one loony pastor can get this kind of press, just think how much press an aggressive anti-extremist Muslim can get. The major networks are just begging for one.

If they go big on the verbal theatrics in denouncing terrorism, they will get a fatwa against them, and may end up being beheaded with a rusty mower blade at the hands of one of their peace-loving cohorts in the religion of peace.

So they have to be low-key...shhhhhhhhh. besides, their religion tells them that they can lie and deceive when in the company of the infidels, in order to achieve the goals of their religion of conquest. The biggest born liars in history. Maybe that is why the democraps have such a kinship with them?

55 wrong again.  First it was a "break" fast.  Muslims fast all day during Ramadan and then break it at night.  Muslims have been speaking out LOUDLY and Publicly.  I work with a lot of these people.  They have all denounced what happened.  The loony pastor gets press because of the magnitude of the event he has planned.  Most people find it horrific.

We are talking to the leader of our faith traditions to speak out against this.  Some of us will join Muslim Serve on 9/11 to work WITH our Muslim brothers and sisters doing service that day.  It is done around the country.  Many things can be done if you really want to reach out.  My nephew told me that when in Iraq he was horrified that they had to trapse through an Iraqii farmers property tearing it up.  He said his group decided to go back and put the property back together and help him plant his crops.  We have photos of the dinner that followed.  Great scene.

No nobody needs to throw bombs here or at our kids in Afghanistan.  What we need to do is come together to support moderate Muslims to live in this country and pray in this country.

While you're praying for the muslims, the rest of us, along with the military will protect your a$$...k?

I'm sorry to disagree, but I'm not wrong. Since you work with Muslims you can't possibly be unbiased about this since you are immersed in it.

Its all about public perception and public relations and they are NOT winning the battle.
The controversy about the ground zero Mosque and the nutty pastor just proves the point.
Ask the average joe on the street who is NOT involved what he thinks, and I think you will be in for an unpleasant surprise.

Like I said before, they need to get out of the Mosques and their events and go into Christian and Jewish establishments. They need to get on talk shows, hold large, very public demonstrations (something like a Million man march or Glen Becks recent event) and anything else UNTIL every rational American understands that the moderate Muslim is dead set against radicalism.
You may think that they are doing that, but they aren't there yet...not even close.

BT you are so full of yourself.  Better wise up and smarten up.  There is a Mosque right in Rotterdam.  These people are YOUR neighbors. What are you gonna do?  Run them out.  Why you're in politics.  You will soon be kissing their a$$. You may need to cop a new attitude.

I have not heard one Muslim Imam  or cleric denounce radical fanatic terrorists on any TV, news paper, or radio station so how loudly and publicly are they really declaring it.

You don't have to get out all you should have to do is listen to the news or watch TV. They are all cowards and cave in to the threats of a few radical groups. If the Imam or clerics would condemn all terrorism and terrorist groups it would go a long way to help convince the people in the USA that they really are a peaceful religion but until then we will all be suspicious.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO......the muslims don't get out much. Why? Because if they are caught denouncing radical islam....they willbe a target. Probably beheaded!! I haven't heard ONE on talk radio or local tv.

They can only speak these 'things' in private, behind closed doors! And then you don't even know if they are sincere! Remember it is these people that use children as shields!!!!!

And no booms, it is YOU that are kissing their a$$....not I. Not now....not ever!!!!

This is the sad fact and one which should be taken to heart. The radical Muslim has a power within   that religion which supercedes all others. There is no freedom to speak against them and therefore all near the ground zero mosque should take heed. Not only could this be one of the worst ideas in US history, but it could cause a serious black eye to true Muslims if radicals use the location to their advantage.

Religion IS THAT PRIVATE/PERSONAL......and the guy in Florida is some dumb a** nut job.........apparently he hasn't learned one rule of engagement...
you dont hit a beehive with a stick and then stand there......duuuuuuuhhhh......

we are all having a conversation about something THAT NO ONE HERE CAN PROVE.....that God is on their side......how stupid we sound......

it's almost like arguing about how neighbors do their laundry......the only difference is that we can touch it feel it see it and smell it.........

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

The "event" has been cancelled, and it looks like the mosque is being moved as well, because Trump put a counter offer in on the building.
